Well said. We have enough enemies in the media without some of our fans giving them ammunition. Our club has become a huge global club and that's the way football has gone. There are upsides and downsides to this. Modern football is not for everyone but the reality is that football at all levels in this country has never been as popular as it is now. Bolton Wanderers are averaging more than 20,000 in the third tier. If you don't like modern football that's fine you can choose not to follow it. This country has become a very dark and negative place but some people seem to like wallowing in the negativity.

I think a large number of those fans know full well what the cas verdict was, but continue with the vitriol because they just want us stopped and their red shirt club mopping up the trophies and money. Carragher however is playing to the red shirt gallery but doesn't have a clue and much like the vast majority of the media he does little serious research on the subject. Funnily enough, most of the Liverpool fan base seem to think he's a cretin, even if it is for different reasons than ours.

Not sure how he can stand being in the same room as that Rag ****, I 100% wouldn't be. He's the epitome of a plastic, and now that "his team" are shite, he prefers to attempt (and fail) to diminish our all too numerous achievements. Did I mention that he's a ****?

The replies show that what Steve said is right we are now guilty no matter what happens

As for that rag prick, I couldn't debate him a fan base that falls out of love with football and have protests every time their are 8th in the league are not worth talking to, I would not have been able to not tell him to fuck off and call him a ****

I have been watching the full swing documentary on Netflix and was surprised at just how complimentary many of the golf journalists were regarding Liv and their players. They might not have liked the fact that Liv is now a power in the game but they were extremely professional in what they said on camera…….not the same situation I know but carraghers comments come across as small time, little englander, uninformed, unprofessional……I could carry on. People like him shouldn’t be allowed to represent the sport of football in any sense, not even allowed to do local commentary…….hes poison

tbf a minor few of our fans have become far too prescious and mard about stuff.

the self deprecating, fuck it, win or lose on the booze etc attitude has been replaced with a stop being nasty to us attittude.

No one likes us, so fucking what, that's their problem, shower of cunts

Well when they decide to venture from their pits of despair which many inhabit then maybe they’ll stop getting called out.

This forum has far more miserable cunts posting on it that a club as successful as ourselves warrants. It’s fucking odd.

Some of them are not city fans…but might claim to be, doesn’t mean every miserable **** with a different opinion should be called out. They’re entitled to an opinion but it’s seems very triggering for some on here….

It’s not being triggered, it’s fucking odd like I said.
The clue is in the word ‘support’
Even if we were shite I’d refrain from slagging us off at every opportunity as long as they were giving it their best.
They are as entitled to their opinions just as the rest of us are entitled to point out that their opinions are terrible.

I switched it off after that. It was a bit dictatorial against fellow fans, who dont have that voice.

Really would be good if they allowed fans on it though. And its still the best podcast out there by a mile.

Misserableness and a bit of a moan I don't care about, city fans have always had a sense of doom and been a bit sardonic and glass half empty at times, while being also well adjusted and happy in their moaning.


It's the end of the world posters and threads every time we lose or draw or the boo hoo the bbc don't post articles about us a lot posters that I find tiring.

We will never be media darlings or get as much press as the red shirts, calling out cunts like harris, the whole guardian spprt team and delaney for targeting us constantly woth negative press is justified, moaning the beeb app has 4 rag stories to 1 for us is pointless imho.

I appreciate that Big Steve fought our corner well in that fanshite thing, but, I hope he doesn't go on it again, nor any other blue. It gives cunts the opportunity to tell us we're cunts, when they're all cunts, for calling us cunts when they don't even understand what cuntish thing we're supposed to have done in order to have broken 115 cuntish rules.
They're all cunts and arguing with them gives their cuntish spiel creedence. Neville and Carragher love it, of course, and it gives them a chance to look relevant - the big pair of fuckin' cunts.
