Only way they are getting in is by winning this years Champs Legue ie LFC are defo not in it - Utd and Arse only in it if they win this years UCL.

12 European sides made up:

4- from UCL winners 21,22,23 and 24 - so Chelsea, City, Real Madrid so far.
8- from UEFA 5 year coefficient.

BUT Maximum 2 from any one country except if UCL winner. So, as you say, only Utd and Arse have a chance and Utd's chance should disappear tomorrw night :)

Who wouldn't want to watch City v Boca Juniors or Real Madrid in the World Cup Final in front of 90,000 fans? Football is global these days and that genie is not going back into the bottle. I think this new tournamant once every four years will generate huge interest and commercial revenues. Let's wait and see.

I think it is brilliant other than the additional toll on the players on a non WC or Euros season.

If we were to win UCL again this season and based on current 5 year coefficient (which will change) the European clubs would be:

Leipzig
Roma
Barcelona
Benfica
Porto

Why won’t you watch the club you support play in a new competition mate?

I'll try and answer that. Had the Super League gone through,c would you have watched it ? What's the difference between the Super League and this manufactured, money grabbing prostitution of our game ?
I'm still undecided if I'll watch this Saudi match.
