It's an empty threat.
Both the Trade Marks Act and IP Regulations make offences out for manufacture, distribution, sale and retail of goods containing Trade Marks (club & sponsors logos) or sufficiently imitating (looking like, doesn't have to be an exact copy) the club shirts in question.
Owning or wearing one is not an offence.

I imagine they could confiscate and destroy the offending shirt. Any girls wearing them? :P

Telegraph today has two footy reports - ours 'n, er, Sheffield Wednesday! When did Wednesday last get twenty odd column inches in the Telegraph. I think they didn't get that much after the 66 final!

Our report as usual centres on the negative - Alvarez leaving 'n Jack's injury.

Ah, well, new season but same ol' shit from the RDAHMeedya!

I would love it if our owners decided to launch their own (uk) national newspaper/website

with honest (factual) reporting. None cartel bias opinion pieces. Politically middle of the road. Religion neutral.
- show everyone what the telegraph could have become under their stewardship.
- show 115 in an unbiased light
- explain CAS
- opinion pieces with clear opposite view sections.

And of course a counter on how long since United won the league in days couldn’t hurt.
It'd sell like the Sun in Liverpool.
