On the subject of grifters here is another DEI hire who the albeeb seem to trip over themselves to shoehorn in at every available opportunity.

I'm not one of these blokes who cannot accept female pundits and commentators, but this girl is a fucking idiot who I absolutely do not want or need to listen to. She'd fit right in at TNT sports I imagine.

They’re absolute dogshit, what can one expect with the likes of Neville and Carragher as their main pundits. How anybody can pay for that shite is beyond me.

Saying that, I had the misfortune to choose the PL feed and Dipper Beglin was just as bad.

On the bright side, we do get to witness those salty tears and snotty nose dripping into their commentary ;-)

CNN piss me off. Last night, nothing about City’s game. Tonight, all goals at the Emirates and then YET ANOTHER MAN U story…I pulled Don Riddell up about it, but don’t expect a reply. Nice feature from Grok in twitter though, even though they got the game wrong…IMG_3681.png

For years I have been amazed how the pundits and sports writers (and the current England manager) fawn over him. Any other England player exhibiting anywhere near his poor form and attitude would have been in the wilderness long ago.

It is a classic case of the Emperors New Clothes.

The thing about Rashford is that I meet a lot of people, particularly middle aged women, who love him to bits due to the school dinners project he got himself involved in. I've had more than enough conversations with people who have little to no interest in the game who wax lyrical about Rashford and how amazing he is. The Utd fans I know can't stand him, but there seems to be a cultured narrative around him as some sort of man of the people that was also played into when his mural was defaced after the Euro 2021 final, when the narrative was around racism. He seems to act as some sort of symbol for whatever the issue of the day is. It's strange, because I've heard a few times that everyone from Mourinho to Ten Hag wanted him out of the club, and struggled to shift him.
