I'm sure the amendment banning leveraged takeovers is being crafted as we speak. The one that also forces any club whose owners have loaded debt onto the club to buy it to repay that debt within 5 years.

It will be legal as it's written by the people who are writing the laws. I'm just hoping it's for new applications. The premier league and FA would lose it's license but I'm not sure what that actually means. I guess no champions league, no world cup, no euros for any player playing in the leagues etc. It's just a stupid addition to the rules

I get the sentiment, but the bill has no such definition. It is a proposed amendment which hasn't yet progressed.
