The former Man Utd skipper said a guilty verdict would do serious damage to the reputation of Manchester City's owners.

No, Neville will set a false narrative like when he talked about this throwing his hands in the air, it doesn’t make sense.
He won’t look at all revenue streams & say City have never claimed to earn more on match day or commercial but they are so successful they make more in broadcast. The bloke not only works in TV, he produces the overlap so to say he doesn’t understand this is a fucking joke. Once he says it, it becomes fact & is repeated.
Saying City are brilliant & the Rags are shit doesn’t make him fair.

In that old MEN article he says ;
" City will never be as big a club as utd on the global scale,when it comes to power.."
The arrogance and stupidity of this public announcement is high...on a similar level to Alex Ferguson s " never in my lifetime" speech
2 red bastards getting giddy ,making statements that look silly ..looking back...
Nevilles big personal problem is he signed a big contract with the BBC an sky to be the big expert pundit,at a time when utd were the best team in England. Both the bbc and gary nev must have thought they had signed the dream deal,Neville looking forward to waxing lyrical about utd,globally for decades to come.
I've posted on here before how I walked past the man at Euston train station London, allsuited and booted, round about the time he fell in with the bbc..probably the day he signed the contract for he looked smug,very happy with himself...
Well that dream has been shattered, hasn't it gary?
More of a nightmare now...which means his day job is uncomfortable for him ,and he has to " say it how it is " which must be eating him up inside....
I've heard fairly intelligent Neville ramblings tbf ,over the years,but I caught a GN sky sports podcast last week,after the Chelsea game, and the true measure of the little man was there for all to see..
When asked...about our great fullback Tony Book,he said he didn't know a lot about Tony..before his time,words to that effect..
And quickly moved on to talk about Denis Law.......I Kidd you not...?!!
How on earth...can an expert national football pundit not know about a player who was voted Player of the year and played the same full back role throughout his career,playing for a team in the same City(did your Dad never tell you about Book v Best on derby days ?)
It was at that moment ,.......despite his professional mumberlings over the last decade or so, that I decided.

Edit. At least Nevilles presence at the Davros meeting for world leaders in Switzerland last week ,means that he is getting closer to the Global Power thing he referred to in the MEN article.
