I'm afraid the days of proper football journalists have now long gone and we are now subject to click bait writers who are clearly working to order. I cannot think of one football writer who is capable of writing a well-researched, balanced, analytical, factual article. The more absurd the claim the higher it goes up on the page/website .It all contributes to the decline of the printed media.

I saw Adrian Heath score for City at Carrow Road.

It was one of the Easter fixtures, I seem to recall. Hallelujah.
I was there too, Halley's comet was also passing over the stadium that day just before a solar eclipse, not sure which was the most rare event

I can

I was also there but can top that.

Heath went over a year without scoring and then scored at QPR in midweek in the Rumbelows Cup, think we won by four?

Even Heath celebrated by taking the piss.

"Anyone but City"

Fuck off Sutton you carrot crunching twat. Thought the BBC was supposed to be impartial?

To be fair to Sutton, he does say he was a Forrest fan as a kid and he does also say we will deserve to go through - which is a great improvement on most others (pretty low bar, I know).
Also, it would be great if one of the others won it (not Villa obv). We've been on the other side of this for years and know how it feels. Anyway, we have bigger fish to fry! Up the eagles!

Another Scott Parker type choice.

Even if he did use the "any player had a more profound influence on his team?" argument, he'd struggle to get past Salah who has single handedly won the league for the dippers. Presume no scousers will make that point in the comments (I havent looked)

Jesus wept.

No , no and no again, the fuck he has had a profound effect, its just the rest of the team has been so pathetically inept and useless that being able to kick a ball in a straight line makes you look world class in that shambles of a team, its the same reason why david beckham was lauded as a sex symbol when he played for them, he wasnt but if you put the elephant man next to ratboy and junior ratboy, the ginger toe sucker and the acne kid and the other addams family rejects then he would look good too.

Being less shite than everyone else around you does not make you good.

Beautifully phrased sir.

Given that they are 14th, the implication would appear to be that without his 'profound effect' they would have been staring relegation in the face. Now that is a glorious thought!
