Media/fans reaction to the owner's decision

spot on JMA, knew you would be able to sum up my feelings and save me the time in posting some illiterate shite of my own.
 
Indeed, a very thoughtful and well constructed opening post from JMA. I particularly agree with the comments about professionalism.

I'm possibly more annoyed than JMA about how this was handled, though. For Hughes to be on the touchline in the media glare all afternoon knowing that he was considered not fit for purpose (to use the popular soundbite) by his employers was an unnecessary cruelty, as much as he may be well compensated.

Ultimately the failure to address the problems in defence has been his undoing. Hughes has spent a fortune in recruiting two centre backs who can't clear a cross and a left-back who would struggle in the Championship. As many goals as we score and create, teams will always feel that they are in the game with us as long as they can put any kind of ball into our area. We have no 'aura' because of this, and it has to be Mancini's priority, although hopefully he's recognised this already.
 
Great post mate,you rounded up all of the thoughts i was having about the events of yesterday as i was trying to sleep last night.To say that mark hughes was not given much of a chance by the owners is just not true,he was backed as you rightly state with money and verbal support,lets face it, at the end of the day the owners had an eye on the furture and the top 4, and made the decision that mark hughes was not the man to reach the targets set,and who are we or the media to get on their backs about their reasons,i mean did we or the media pump all that money into the club ? They pay the piper so they call the tune,and as for the media,well they can go and take a flying fuck,i have never had any love for them and i'am not going to start now.
 
I agree with everything that's been written in your article my fellow blue friend. Super post with many points that I feel every blue who's panicing or not happy should read this whether they agree with it or not I think it would calm everyone down.

I'm so annoyed with the way the media have attacked us over this but it doesn't shock me as they've been waiting for something like this for a while now!

Great post though pal and I like I say anyone who reads it will feel much better about what is happening at our great club.
