Another cheap shot at Raheem by the scum. At least Linekar has publicly defended him this time. This campaign against him is pathetic
Always suspected that the S*n printed all these anti Raz stories to appease the bin dippers after their reporting of the Hillsborough disaster......
I can see their next headlines now.

The Sun can reveal the real reason Liverpool lost the champions league final on Saturday. Apparently goalkeeper Loris Karius was so traumatized after seeing Raheem Sterling's shocking gun tattoo he went to pieces during the game. A tearful Loris explains.
"Somebody showed me the tattoo just prior to kick off and it shocked me. You see it was identical to a supercharged water pistol I was ambushed with when I was only five years of age. I thought I was over it but seeing the tattoo brought all the old memories flooding back. I tried to hold it together but when I went to throw the ball out in the second half and Benzema stuck his leg out all I could visualize was that tattoo and the pain I felt as a child. In shock I threw the ball at his leg to prevent in my mind the soaking of water I thought was coming my way. Later in the game when Gareth Bale hit the ball straight at me and some water from the pitch and ball hit me in the face my composure went completely and I recoiled in horror and before I knew it the ball was in the net and the game was lost. You see in my mind in those moments I was once again that frightened five year old child cowering from the barrage of water from that evil water pistol and it is all Raheem's fault!"
I think it was wrong from Sterling. Not all people know or will know the reason. The reason is irrelevant because that Tattoo is sending the wrong message to young people
The reason is not irrelevant. The reason makes Sterling the perfect role model. Dad gunned down at a young age, he could have turned to a life of violence like so many other kids but instead he decided to make something of himself and vowed he would never touch a gun. And do you seriously think that young kids who don't know the reason behind it are gonna take one look at it and ask for an M16 for Christmas? When they are already playing Battlefield or Call of Duty or some other graphic war video game bought by their parents?

How dare they let him so close to those kids!! Aren't they worried he forgot to put the safety on his leg tattoo?!

see, this is why i stick up for England when we play football, the amount of abuse from the media and social media to our players is f*cking pathetic. Totally agree Sterling gets treated badly by all, but i will defend Rooney and anyone else the same - give em a f*cking break! the Sun can really f*ck off, caused more damaged to this nations football side than anyone else.

no, but he had to put up with burning effigys and hearing sick abuse about his wife and children from grown adults with the media trying there best to split him and his wife up.
the media and majority of football fans are fickle, full of hatred and scum.
