Watched the first 20 mins of football focus and like others was expecting at least 2 mins on City then we had keown stating the reason for dippers demise was solely due to no Anfield wall of noise and also all the injuries they have. Ffs we have more injuries then them. Anyway couldn’t watch the rest of the program as I had to make sure I got to the beach bar for my takeaway beer(sat on the bar wall supping it) before it closes at 3.00.
They are probably right.
It takes a team of real quality to continue winning when injuries etc cause enforced changes to momentum.

It seems everyone with the tiniest investment in football wants us to disappear, so what if we did and Leicester won the league and continued to dominate for the next ten years or so? Would the bosses at the Premier league and in Europe still carry on as aggressively talking about super leagues and historical entries into Europe’s top competition, about new winners of the Premier league each year? Would the media still run with the same narratives about Leicester running away with massive point gaps two thirds through the season being bad for football (just like they did with the dippers last year..oh hang on) and their owners? About Jonny come latelys not deserving to dine at the same trough?
Another scenario is City and Leicester sharing the top two spots for years to come and the media’s plastic spunkbubbles battling for the scraps.
Would they finally accept that’s where it’s at or would they pursue even more aggressive agendas and campaigns against the pair of us?

Tonight’s news in Perth ‘klopp concedes the title’ followed by Leicester’s highlights which left the dippers 13 points behind league leaders Manchester City. City beat Tottingham 3-0 including this stunner by Gundogan’ . The video showed Gundo’s first touch and then him striking the ball....no pass from Ederson and they didn’t even show the ball crossing the line never mind hitting the back of the net, before they quickly went to some obscure sport report and a chuckle from the presenter.

I saw just that one and thought the new woman had misread it. But with it being given incorrectly on at least two other occasions during the al course of the evening it makes you wonder what is going on at the BBC.
I would have thought that someone even if it was just a cameraman or tea lady might have said 'Hey that's wrong, don't you remember we briefly mentioned it on Thursday after the Superbowl, tennis, cricket, rugby and the Team Knitting World Cup?'
This morning the football was well down the list again and when it was on it was they led with Klopp's emotional moment, complete with a sympathetic remark from the presenter about the Mardarsed Twat.
On BBC radio 5 live at about 9.30 am it was first stated as a 15 game winning run by one presenter and then another presenter said the winning run was extended to 16 games with yesterday's win over spurs. I just looked at the report on the match v spurs on BBC website and it wrongly says the winning run was extended to 15 games with the victory over spurs.

Only a few weeks ago the BBC incorrectly reported that Alisson won the golden glove award last season.

The BBC are certainly deliberately obtuse. They are probably guilty of publishing misinformation too.

Got to laugh at Mourinho banging on about a modern penalty. Wasn't it him who taught St Marcus how to be cute and win penalties?

Well done for showing exactly why we need this thread, not an agenda issue as such, but pathetic hypocrisy exposed right there.

The expected reactions from someone fairly beaten by City, we had more time off/bad decisions/spending blah blah, and the media complicit in encouraging/highlighting these gripes as a way of diluting the impact of our success.

A sort of "this means less" approach as opposed to the snivelling "this means more" afforded to our rivals in red..........organised and clear.

They never make a mistake that flatters or is favourable to us, strangely enough.
