They're both a pair of pricks, as you rightly say but Prick Harris has some sort of excuse in that he has mental health issues. I have my doubts about that story about a brick through his window being true however. I know the club worked closely with a select group of journalists, including him, a few years ago when he was something like Sports Editor at the MoS. This was part of the media strategy to get some of the more reasonable ones onside with the "project". Prick wrote about financial stuff so the club would pass him stuff and we'd exchange views and information.
Wow that is incredible and well done you mate for maintaining your professional dignity and self-respect in the face of that kind of behaviour.

Quite frankly I am tired of our limp-wristed, reactive strategy to this sustained anti-Manchester City media narrative and campaign, a strategy that encourages them to say/write what they like with fuck-all by the way of veracity and with absolutely zero accountability.

We should be on the front-foot and aggressively hunting these twats out of existence using whatever means necessary to do so.

There's no end to the 'billionaire' narrative.

Even after 8 years of complying with UEFA and PL rules, and the club being self-sustainable.

Jeremy Cross, you clueless, click-bait, (cheif sports writer) c*nt!

The club can’t do anything;
Ban them and they hit us with the state funded propeganda machine attacking Britain’s brave press.
Argue back, they ignore it and don’t print it.

it’s the fans that have to fight

Sorry mate - disagree totally. For me it's not about Harris, Conn, Delooney or some other talentless no-mark - it's about those who fund them and provide them with a vehicle to communicate their toxic and corrosive bullshit on to the mass population. To make a difference you follow the money and get in at the very top. It's all they care about. For example we should be using our extensive corporate and commercial power and influence to disrupt their revenue and advertising streams. Only when they see a cause-and-effect relationship between the financial consequences of attacking City will things change. Until then, fans are just pissing in the wind, increasing the very means on which these trolls are paid - ie clicks and hits.

We would have to go into debt to buy Haaland, and that isn't our business model. We should be applauded for that, but not a f*cking chance with the parasites.

They'd no doubt be praising the Rag's or Dipper's they bought him (going into MORE debt in doing so) because it 'shows ambition'.

Remind me: Who's ruining football?

I complained to Tim Davie in October about Silly Sally.

"Dear Mr Davie

In view of your clearly stated policy to end the activities of opinionated columnists and partisan campaigners employed by the BBC I think you may be interested in the link below.

In view of Sally Nugent's uber saturation coverage of Marcus Rashford's campaign (in itself very worthy) complete with countless puff piece interviews with him and the revelation that she has links with Rashford's PR guru (or 'Director of Brand Strategy') Kelly Hogarth I would be very disappointed if she were not taken to task for this clear breach of the policy you have introduced.

Kind regards

Rashford's BBC Publicist"

I received a reply advising that he's unable to respond personally to all communications and that my email had been passed to some minion. Here is that minion's reply.

Dear

Thank you for contacting the BBC about our coverage of Marcus Rashford.

Since it began earlier this year, BBC News has reported on significant developments in Marcus Rashford’s campaign on child food poverty, reflecting the social, political and economic implications.

We have also looked at the personal story that lies behind Marcus Rashford’s campaign and the way he has used his profile as a footballer to raise issues of child poverty. This has drawn praise from those at the top of Government and from across the political spectrum and led to him recently being awarded an MBE.

Sally Nugent has a long history of reporting on sports news stories for the BBC and has conducted interviews with Marcus Rashford in this capacity.

Additionally Sally has reflected on all sides of the debate including interviewing experts on poverty as well as politicians from all sides, most recently questioning Labour’s support for free school meals live on BBC Breakfast.

Our news presenters often use their social media accounts to post clips from their programmes or to further discuss stories they cover, and we wouldn’t agree that this amounts to over-exposure of this story.

Sally has no affiliation with Marcus’ PR team, beyond what is needed for her to perform her journalistic duties or to maintain points of contact.

We are confident our reporting has been duly impartial and accurate, as required by our Editorial Guidelines.

Thank you once again for writing in and we have shared your concerns with the team at BBC Breakfast.

Kind regards,

Phil Young

So contacting Tim Davie is unlikely to be read by, let alone replied to, by the man himself.

Did Talk Shite drag Cascarino(Pundit?) off the street with a promise of a hot drink and a sandwich?

Nice piece, but the implication that Guardiola replaced Hart when he was at the top of his game doesn’t quite ring true. Pellegrini had already dropped him for a spell in the previous season when his form had dipped and he was having a miserable time with England.
Peps main reason for replacing Hart was due to him refusing to adapt into the way he wanted him to play out from the back , along with Harts attitude
