Don't know where he's from but so long as plays well for England and badly for United he'll do for meLuke Shaw doesn’t sound very Yorkshaw?

Totally agree with you. I stated earlier it was great for non City English fans. Won the game and a chance to whine about Raheem. If not him it would have been Stones,Walker or Foden.
Grealish was praised for 'winning a foul' in the first couple of minutes on the pitch. He will find the praise will disappear if he comes to City.Beginning to wish someone else got that penalty for us, you know, someone who would have "won the penalty" with his driving runs into the box terrifying Denmarks defenders into making Rash challenges.
As it is, Sterling will be the one having his confidence challenged by the whingers, racists, opposing fans, bitter pundits and vile media, all desperate for it to go wrong for him and probably England.
I hope we win it easily on sunday with a great display.

I was listening to that debate. First words out of shoutys mouth was Sterlicheat and diver blah blah. Then some scouse prick having a go at Kane and Sterling for diving, before Townsend asked him if any Liverpool players dived at the first gust of wind. The reply.... we aren't talking about Liverpool.... end of callOn TalkSport it seems to be all about Sterling and Kane diving rather than the fact England made it to the final. Saying that, it’s being presented by a Scotsman who has to be controversial to keep the listeners engaged, even if in anger.
Good to see Townsend sticking up for the guys though.
Sounds like my sex lifeThe museum of sex (X10)
It’s the hypocrisy that gets me.I was listening to that debate. First words out of shoutys mouth was Sterlicheat and diver blah blah. It’s had a huge influence and that’s why Southgate turns to 3 of our main players all the time. Same as in the WC where Stones, Walker and Sterling were all first picks with, I think, Fabian Delph from the bench. Was listening to 606 and how everybody was surprised at how well England was controlling possession and that their game management was so good after Kane's penalty. It got me thinking. While Southgate has undoubtedly done well, I think Pep has had a big influence on the style of football we play in this country we're now seeing in this England team. It's no surprise all the City lads have been superb. Yet the media can't quite admit it can they ?
All goalkicks from Euro teams, play out from the back now, long gone is the boot upfield by the goalie… wonder where that idea came from…It’s had a huge influence and that’s why Southgate turns to 3 of our main players all the time. Same as in the WC where Stones, Walker and Sterling were all first picks with, I think, Fabian Delph from the bench.
I rate Samuel but this is a joke. I always think he is fair and balanced so why just these 2 teams ? The biggest culprits are the rags, at least we solve our problems by throwing players at it. They don't.MARTIN SAMUEL: Compared to the golden generation, Gareth Southgate has gems everywhere... he can throw players at the problem like Chelsea or Man City can throw money. It's scary
NEW MARTIN SAMUEL - CHIEF SPORTSWRITER: The golden generation was, in essence, a golden team. There were no goalscorers in Rooney or Michael Owen's class, the depth just wasn't there.
Another one for the teenagers there....... ;-)Making love to Helana Christensen 10 times.
His hypocrisy is astounding, but I blame the people interviewing him and writing it up just as much if not more, I've yet to see anyone in response say " and yet you didn't have a problem when your beloved Spanish rags were getting handouts" !![]()
La Liga chief: Manchester City could not sign Messi without ‘financial doping’
La Liga chief Javier Tebas has claimed Manchester City could not sign Lionel Messi without ‘financial doping’www.theguardian.com
The Guardian with its normal hatchet job. Where’s the balance in this piece?
It’s customary to at least refer to both sides of the argument but apparently not where City are concerned.
I wouldn't be surprised if that piece had been heavily editorialised. The days of free thinking journalists being able to essentially print what they want has long gone. Generating clicks is where it's at these days.I rate Samuel but this is a joke. I always think he is fair and balanced so why just these 2 teams ? The biggest culprits are the rags, at least we solve our problems by throwing players at it. They don't.
I’ve been thinking this myself. Pep and City have had a huge influence on this England team. The way we play, the spirit, the confidence, the players…whilst it would be arrogant to say that’s all it is, it is a significant factor.
So according to his logic should nobody be making huge new signings and paying huge wages. His hypocrisy is astounding, but I blame the people interviewing him and writing it up just as much if not more, I've yet to see anyone in response say " and yet you didn't have a problem when your beloved Spanish rags were getting handouts" !
No asking about the debt of the Spanish big club or how he can forecast the future for City whilst failing to run his own properly.![]()
