I'm my completely unbiased opinion he comes 4th on that quartet. And it's easy even for me to be completely unbiased on the back four.

Even United fans I know think he's shit.

According to the latest BBC figures, despite a £400k pay cut, Lineker is still the highest paid employee on £1.36M. Can't blame him for that salary as the fault lies entirely with the dolt who thinks he's worth it.
I would hazard a guess that nobody watches MOTD because HE presents it and nobody would not watch if HE didn't.
Personally I don't like the guy, I see a tendency for snide comments and put downs but a none to happy reaction when bounced back.

And that is where the BBC are so out of touch. I record Motd so in a years time I can marvel in Kevs brilliant pass to Aguero for our 3rd goal. I skip the intro, the post match comments and every other match that is on. The BBC is cash strapped at the moment so cut out the no marks and just show the match highlights.

Your sentence is a bit strangled but are you saying that nobody watches MotD because Lineker presents it? Viewing figures would tend to dispute that despite all matches being available somewhere for the last 18 months. The second part of your sentence looks like you think that anyone who doesn't watch it, purely because he currently presents it, would suddenly tune in? Is that regardless of who replaces him?

I think he's saying that people watch it for the football not just because he presents it. So they don't watch it for him but despite of him being on it. In other words it would have the same audience figures regardless of who presents it so why is he worth so much of our licence fee? And yes, I know I shouldn't pay it!

He's not only deluded - he's rude shouting over other people. I notice the BBC Sport website is more like a copy of the Red Issue this week with Simon Stone churning out a high volume of his Yoonited Fanzine twaddle... quite how the BBC justify this clown on the payroll is beyond me... still it means that there's more focus on United than the other 19 PL clubs combined - so objective achieved.
