Richard Keys just said Guardiola has spent £1.4bn at City.

I've just worked it out and he has actually spent £850m.

Almost doubled the real figure.

Damned if I can see what you find so distasteful about that. We do have a tough start given so many players have come back late, let alone Grealish (for one) who has only just joined us.

Its a very valid point and something I have wondered about this year. If a side do what Liverpool did 2 years ago we cannot afford a slow start. Real balancing act to get the results today, but also get players ready for the business end of the season.

That coverage today was crazy. Tyler calling Grealish a diver. Neville blasting Mendy that he can’t defend (rightly so) after giving a free kick away whilst then awarding man of the match to a player who fouled his way through the game.
Said their goal was thoroughly deserved. He must think United have a chance this year to be that biased today, never normally that bad.

All I can say is the mentions of the amount of money that City spend on the starting XI and bench is always going to be said by the media at every opportunity that they get. I have grow really tired of it and never do they mention any other team doing the same. The commentary alone wasn't a suprise in the slightest cause that what they love to.
