reckons liverpool “really deserve” to win the premier league because their net spend over the last 5 years has been roughly half of ours.

presumably he also thinks real madrid “really deserve” to win the champions league, given their net spend over the last 5 years has been roughly half of liverpool’s.

and even though the net spend ratio between us is 2:1, the league title ratio over the same period is (barring an upset) 4:1. which indicates pretty plainly that - in the context of this fabricated overhyped managerial rivalry - guardiola’s overachieving and klopp’s underachieving. contrary to the shameless rhetoric of the arabophobic scouse-loving media (see above).

Did the same then up pops Sergio : )

It’s like they are hoping for a certain outcome and the more negative the media about our game and more positive about red scousers that maybe they’ll hope it comes true ..

I was on SSN this morning. Listen to the questions they were asking me. Genuinely ridiculous. All they wanted was me to say that winning the premier league is nothing compared to whatever the mighty Liverpool could do.

A mate recorded it, here it is...

Did really well keeping your cool there - really impressive.

I think I would have bit.............

Redknapp said he hoped we’d lose and how any number of things could go wrong for City and one of those was the possibility of a sending off. He’s on the pitch right now at the Etihad.
If thats true, thats shocking from Redknapp.Always thought he liked us.
