There so so scared of city we buying clubs around the world and more to come we buy the best youth players from around the world for this clubs and ours!

Our turnover went above the scum for the first time this year! As a club we going one way in the next 10/20/50 years they see that they see the scum in that shit hole with yanks taking tens of millions out of the club! They spent a billion on players and won next to fuck all no trophies in the last 4 years probably 5! We are the dominant trophy winning team!

The only way they see to stopping us now after trying every other scandalous way, is to keep going on about a reset looking at owners and getting our owners to sell up!

This war they’ve seen it as a opportune turn to start the propaganda on owners and a reset, ones that will benefit those two twats disgrace of a party politic broadcast.

People do not see the difference between:
a) Being on the brink of war with Russia, a hostile entity which has been so all my life.
b) Being on terms of amity and alliance with the UAE. Which has always been our 'friend' insofar as any country is.
Either they are thick, or they have an agenda.
That the UAE has human rights issues I don't question, but so do most countries, including ours. We have relations and alliances with all manner of dodgy regimes, that is realpolitik. You cannot just trade and ally with nice guys, there aren't enough of them. The USA is our chief ally, and as far as human rights go is as dodgy as fuck. I could go on, but it would be tedious.

Spot on, & just to caveat with my earlier post today having given it some more thought; I do not believe the media driven crusade to drive our owners out will be successful. It is impossible to see how it could be given the UK's strategic relations with the UAE, of which our owner is a citizen of, with many investments in the UK.

What I do expect however, is a new rule/regulation brought in moving forward that will prevent owners with links to royalty etc like our own, or PIF at Newcastle buying football clubs. This will be to placate our red shirted friends and their hoards of allies in the mainstream media.

I wrote on here the other day about my concern around the atmosphere and clamour for change at Middle-Eastern owned clubs following the sanctions on Abramovich and it’s fall out.

I fear our rivals are only being emboldened by what is currently happening, we are now seeing their message being propagated to a huge main stream audience on Sky, rather then their bot like journalists. Do not underestimate what the tide of popular opinion can do, this has been their aim all along & I fear this is going to be an even bigger onslaught than the Der Speigel leaks.

Neville talking about an independent arbitrator on club ownership is clearly the angle they are driving to remove ‘state’ financing from the game, so I’m expecting to see more of this over the coming months. How they could hope to drive out Middle Eastern investment in one part of British society but hope to keep it in others, I’ve no idea but I think they are going to push and push for it.
There isn't any "state" financing of City unless it's sponsorships that will be outlawed and in that case the first thing I'm certain we'll see is the FA telling Emirates their money isn't welcome any longer
Oh, and how does a country's FA actually bid to stage an event without State backing?

Simply put, it'll be an attempt driven by the usual's to have clubs owned by people linked to states, whether that be Sheikh Mansour as a UAE royal, PIF @ Newcastle or whoever else outlawed through lobbying an 'independent arbitrator'.

How this would ever be practical in reality is beyond me & clearly would fail, not least for the point you mentioned, but you can guarantee they will try it, they are testing the waters with their lapdogs in the media.

Don't forget who Sky are owned by.
Yesseree, our cousins across the pond.
Pure coincidence, though.
For all we know, Murdoch could be planning all sorts of things that affect our football in conjunction with the American club owners on their New York meetings. I have to admit that although knowing Sky are part of the enemy, l has forgotten the Murdochs would be in the thick of it. I got a reminder nudge from Knobhead NeVILE's secret political ambitions.
