Someone else said it was The Overlap but I've never listened to one and couldn't tell you which one it would be. I suspect that the moron who Tweeted his supposed comments may have slightly twisted what he said.
Yes it was in The Overlap. Verbatim from Neville as quoted on here. The chosen City guy in the audience, Stephen Mc?, uttered not one word to challenge him. A Sky production - usual levels of United and Liverpool bias to the fore.

This?

Him? Smiling.

Sat next to the Rag from Full Time Devils.

The lot of them hand picked by Sly Sports.

First topic…… United’s new Manager.

pisses me off when it goes unchallenged, clearly not there to represent views of City fans but he’s there to pick up a wage.

8:50 onwards.

No5. Neville. United Sporting Project.

Stick with it.

Jordan then goes on about Culture. Middle Eastern organizations buying football clubs to Sports Wash horrible regimes. Then getting the hearts and the minds of the fan base by investing in the local community.

Jordan doesn’t name Sheikh Mansour or City, but it’s obvious which owner and club he’s referring to. Failed football club owner c*nt!

Fuck me some of you lot don't half lose the plot at the slightest hint of something unflattering being said about us. You really want the city guy to be making a tit of himself shouting at the pundits every other word knowing full well he's never going to be given the time to say anything that makes them look stupid anyway and chirping up just makes him look like a fucking moron on the same delusional levels as Ty the arsenal fan or that brummie United follower who get ridiculed constantly for being like that.

Its a form of entertainment staring 2 ex united players and a kid spitting Everton fan who now favours the dippers, if you don't expect it to be very pro-united/Liverpool centric you're an idiot.

Now I know why I usually avoid this thread like the plague.

Only came in to praise City for allowing zinchenkos ex youth team mate to train with our u23's but its already been posted. very classy

He, me, you, all of us know the setup from Sly Sports, so why go on it as a City fan? Tell Sly Sports to f*ck off, and to shove their money and refreshments….….

If you don’t like the overwhelming views and opinions of City fans on this thread, do yourself a favour and continue staying off the thread. Your problem solved.

Because he's a city fan and he is/wants to be in the media/social media as a city fan. Why shouldn't he go on there as the city representative when given the opportunity? If you know the setup, why are you even bothering to watch it? Tell sky sports to fuck off by not giving them money and views.

Not all City fans have this switch that gets rattled everytime somebody that openly doesn't like city says something that isn't overwhelming praise about us and feel the need to rant about it, especially when you're being filmed and millions of people are going to see it.

Maybe he needs or could consider the narrative & have answers that put them in their place.

Ask Neville not to hide behind innuendo & if they believe sheik mansour has committed a crime be specific or are you afraid of litigation. Say we can all make carefully crafted insults that provide a false narrative to damage all the great work that has been done.

Now if he doesn’t have the ability to do that, or he has but won’t then that’s why he’s there & he gets his job & his media dream.

but what do City fans get out of this? Why do we want to see someone representing the views of blues who isn’t prepared to put his neck on the line, we could get a forest fan to do that.

A lot of football fans think having millions of Asian fans wearing counter fit United shirts is the reason why companies put their names on clubs T-shirts. It’s a lot more than that now, it’s like you said about the exposure. City have been the best English club over the past decade. The most watched league in the world and City have been at the top for years. This is why we attract the sponsorships. I wouldn’t worry about people on Twitter that can’t accept we’re not little City anymore. Don’t Etihad sponsor all the CFG clubs? Now that is exposure no other club in world football can offer.

I will be honest here, and say I have felt a tinge of conscience about the potential for City leveraging the business contacts of some very senior, globally influential people on the board. It goes against my sense of fair play really.

But then I think back to the periods of dominance of other clubs and how they leveraged anything they could to get an advantage and I think fuck them all. I don't remember United fans feeling guilty when they got access to funds by floating a PLC, I don't remember Liverpool fans feeling guilty when they used the Littlewoods money, I don't remember Arsenal fans feeling guilty about their diamond money. I don't remember any of them feeling guilty when they used their influence to restructure the game to their benefit.

If they want to compete now, they need to man up, stop complaining all the time (and getting their pet journalists to complain) and get better organised. The bar has been raised by City and they need to catch up.
