Good question ;)Why are you asking me?
I don't know what people were expecting from the City fan on the Overlap?
He gave a pretty thinly veiled I'm not a Geopolitical Expert or Forensic Accountant, and I'm guessing neither are you, leave to to the experts.
He's hardly going to call them a gobshite is he, if he did anything too confrontational it would have just been edited out.
The only thing I would maybe have liked to have seen is a light hearted quip about Neville thinking he's running the country. Carragher would have been well on that.
Yes, I bet he wouldn't wait to spit it out.The only thing I would maybe have liked to have seen is a light hearted quip about Neville thinking he's running the country. Carragher would have been well on that.
“They will act against City” appears to give them gravitas and legal standing not found in evidence. In the short term it won't matter. In the longer term it will. They will act against City, or they will certainly try. And if they can't move against City, they will move against other foreign owners from what they term rogue states i.e. not Western.
We're living in a bizarre world where we have token anti-racism on the pitch alongside blatantly nationalistic ideology that will have consequences. City have spent the last decade fighting the net of FFP and the traps other clubs laid for us. This isn't going away, it will come up in a new form.
How about most of our money comes from TV & prize money & we can’t inflate that.
As I’ve said if he can’t think like that then that’s why he’s there.
And that will be overcome, too, as our owners continue to grow their franchise model and create ever more value in CFG.In the short term it won't matter. In the longer term it will. They will act against City, or they will certainly try. And if they can't move against City, they will move against other foreign owners from what they term rogue states i.e. not Western.
