Garth Crook team of the week has Bernardo in it, but most of the section about Bernardo is actually about Raheem (off form, not getting on with Pep, needs to leave). Garth you thick sod, Raheem isn’t in your team of the week so shut up

Even worse how the hell did KDB get into his team.He was poor in that first half but slightly improved in the second.I truly believe Crooks just pulls names out of a hat the fuckwit.

Not sure what’s worse;

that **** for getting paid to write his weekly shite; you cunts for reading what he writes or me (also ****) for reading you writing about what he has written.

What about us reading what you have written about what they have written about what he wrote in the first place?

So after the Newcastle take over, Chelsea have been quietly dropped from the MSM hate list, the new gig in town and parroted last week by Bingo is “state owned” as in “we know three clubs are now state owned”, ok so putting to one side Mansour is a privately very rich man who owns a majority of MCFC approx 75%, the bad guys are the ones backed by a state. Chelsea’s man earned his billions through the sale of previously state owned assets, so nothing to see there. But how about those paragons of virtue at Anfield, Bingo and his coach smashers. Well what short memories, they were within days of going bust and needed, yes you’ve guessed it a state bailout! RBS was state owned at the time and used our money to bail them out.

the article below gives details. So next time the dippers go in about “state owned” please do remind them of their not to distant past.

So more anti city articles to come from the usual suspects then.
He probably realises what a mess he and his former agent Aidy Ward made of his departure from The Cult and doesn’t want a repeat of that fallout.
He is forgetting the following:
1: City don’t have anything like the volume of media placemen, whether hacks, presenters or ex players given pundit gigs, as the redshirts. The Mirror/TalkShite/5 Live won’t be rolling out ex City players on an hourly basis to attack his character as they all did when he dared to ‘Go Clear’ from L (Ron Hubbard) FC
2: We are, by and large, a far saner fanbase. Players who leave respectfully and don’t subsequently chat a load of Milner-esque wham are generally thanked for their efforts and welcomed back.
3: Manchester isn’t perfect but is widely considered by pretty much everyone as a much less racist city than the former slavery/confederacy supporting liverpool. There is a reason that Manchester has a Lincoln statue.
This undercurrent fuelled much of both the fan and media reaction to what many of them saw as an uppity young black man refusing to ‘know his place’ and daring to show personal and professional ambition. When Raheem leaves City it will be more with a general air of respect for his achievements combined with a vague air of promise left unfulfilled.
