Miguel Delaney writes the same article on City over and over again and gets paid for it. Nice work if you can get it.
no probs, I'm not arsed enough to argue it out any further tbh.But that is what they're testing to see?
I must admit to have paid it little attention when it was announced but the parent company is "Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited (also known as Jardines) is a Hong Kong-based Bermuda-domiciled British multinational conglomerate." (cheers Wiki).I thought I had read "owned" but I'm probably wrong. But the article is still wrong; the hotel group is based in Hong Kong, not UAE.
He claims that he doesn’t support any English club but some small Spanish outfit. Are you sure about his allegiances ? The only record I can find of him authoring anything is a contribution to an anthology of stories about united.
Are you fucking sure??????A great article in the Independent an honest review I would say. long but week worth a read
Honest, Miggy?A great article in the Independent an honest review I would say. long but week worth a read

Weird considering he such is an open redshirts apologist. To the extent that he was publicly tossing himself off about a ‘historical title race’ between the two cheeks of the same M62 arse little over 12 months ago.
More than a hint of ‘Altrincham fan’ Taylor about him
What’s hilarious about this 15%, is that fans of certain other clubs take that entire sum out of the equation when foaming at the mouth about our finances. Like the club that has won about half the total PL titles in the last decade wouldn’t be able to find anyone else to sponsor them if Etihad pulled out.The rules are clearly aimed at us and Newcastle. In the febrile imagination of the media, rival fans and our competitor's boardrooms, we are riddled with inflated deals. The fact is we have no related deals under IAS24 and on the wider interpretation of associated deals, we derive only 15% of our turnover from them.
Are you fucking sure??????
Doesnt even re write always, just re links to ones he wrote 12 months agoMiguel Delaney writes the same article on City over and over again and gets paid for it. Nice work if you can get it.
Not sure I get his point this time other than all he’s saying is city Chelsea and utd have spent the same and city have spent it better.Miguel Delaney writes the same article on City over and over again and gets paid for it. Nice work if you can get it.
So what you’re saying is, he’s a clueless no nothing twat?It is the usual despicable piece you would expect from the author. It is riddled with mistakes. He describes Khaldoon as the "de facto Prime Minister of UAE" and City as a a "state project." He says the club was bought for "the glory of Abu Dhabi" and for "political aims." He also claims we have "limitless funds" and escaped from Covid unscathed (ignoring our £126m loss last season).
He also repeats the fake claim that we just bought the whole management structure from Barcelona. In fact Sorriano and Soriano had both left Barca before they came to City. Soriano was running a Spanish airline. Every paragraph emphasises the false narrative that Delooney has created in his head.
For the absence of any doubt City are not "state owned" and never have been. Dozens of independent auditors from all over the world and scores of lawyers have poured over our books for ten years and they have never found we are "state owned." Not even UEFA have ever alleged that.
There is no evidence that Sheikh Mansour or the US and Chinese consortiums who own our club are the slightest bit interested in so-called "sportswashing" They have made billions from their investments in MCFC and the City of Manchester so far and have only just got going. In fact there is no such thing as "sportswashing" Most businesses in the Gulf region are on an urgent mission to diversify their incomes away from declining fossil fuels, like oil. No one acccuses Dubai of "tourismwashing." Sheikh Mansour is no different which is why, despite being accused of making "dirty oil money," he is one of the world's biggest investors in renewable energy.
Anyone seen the latest effort from Barney Ronay in the shit Guardian?. Don't know how to put a link on, but it starts quite promising then subsides in to more raging bitterness, just like a true red scouse cock end would have you believe. The tool ends up playing City bingo towards the end, this pathetic excuse of a journalist is quite high up on the hit list. Fucking prick!
Perhaps the question to the poster should be " have you actually written it ? "
Read it disppointing from ronay as he is a talented writer compared to Mr Paradise and others. He does regularly write poor quality negative City articles. My view is he is happy to write in accordance with his editors direction and take the money. Has he been chatting to miggy this week. Ignoring the bingo he seems very negative about City for running the business well and effectively as though to provide an unfair advantage.
