The BBC are reporting (for about the fifth time) that Barcelona have agreed terms with Torres. This is despite the fact that Barcelona haven't a pot to piss in at the moment. How the hell are they going to find the £60 million or so that City are looking for.

Barcelona seem to expect City to sell his contract for a fraction of that. They are probably expecting City to accept £20 million in instalments over the next ten years. Everyone knows that Barcelona couldn't raise a fraction of the fee that City will be looking for, so why do we get tedious repetitions of non-news like this?
Wonder why the BBC are not outraged about what appears to be blatant tapping up off a player under contract.

Sly just can't stop themselves can they....headline news with that annoying prick Rob bellend Trying to big it up...most be a quiet sports news morning....

Up until Pep coming to us his Barcelona side was widely accepted as being the best ever.

Now he is replicating that with us it"s boring and we are shite!

Bitter Bastards.
If you get a chance watch the documentary Take the Ball Pass the Ball (free on Amazon Prime or Netflix). It's about that great Barca side and how Pep built it. Look at the way all those legends like Xavi, Alvez, and Messi talk about Pep. Messi has frequently said Pep made him as a player giving him that false number 9 role. They are some of the greatest players of all time and they describe him as a genius who changed their lives.
Let the bitter bastards be bitter. Pep will go down as the greatest manager of all time across the world.

Not in this country he wont. Our country media is so full of hate and bitterness they would/have never really recognised what Pep has done. Maybe in future when they look back at this period but by then it wont hurt them to admit it.

But! They know, they all know.
