I'm worried about City's chances this season.

Tony Cascarino sys "City will win the PL comfortably".

I am worried because the know-alls are generally wrong.

Just waiting to see how many past there prim, one last pay day players Newcastle can blag into the club before they sink to Div 2. Shearer will be pissing his pants as in the none pen he thought they should have had.

Not in this country he wont. Our country media is so full of hate and bitterness they would/have never really recognised what Pep has done. Maybe in future when they look back at this period but by then it wont hurt them to admit it.

But! They know, they all know.
if only he'd gone to the rags
but there again he bring's no guarantee of success

The media here are ignorant about football. Some of them are still fans of Pulis and Allardyce. It will be clear in ten years time that Pep has revolutionised English football. The new generation of highly-skilled young England players like Mount and Foden have been heavily influenced by Pep's style. A lot of people say Pep had a big say in helping Germany win the World Cup in 2014 because of what he started to do at Bayern. If England win a trophy it will be the same.

So true. Even teams way down the pyramid are now playing the ball out from the back and not just hoofing it over the midfield and hoping for the best.

Yes it has become noticeable when we play some lower league teams. Newport were excellent, so were Burton in the second match. Oxford are another team that play good pass and move football (at least against us). The two leading teams in the Championship currently are Fulham and Bournemouth. Both excellent footballing sides. This is great for the future of English football.

Didn't work that well for Leeds last week, I noticed.
It didn't work well for United at their place either. Hoofing the ball into the channels, getting to the diagonal position at the edge of the penalty area then hoofing it towards Ronaldo or Cavani. Looking for knock downs or diving for penalties. It is as close as you can get to Bolton with Kevin Nolan or Burnley teams for the past 10 years. That style is good enough to get you in the top ten places but doesn't win trophies. This is the worst United team I have ever seen (in some ways worse than the one relegated in 74). But the dinosaurs are becoming extinct.
