The Daily Telegraph has done a half season review of every Premier club...
Liverpool
In any other era they would be heading for their third title in 4 years under the German. Manchester City's unlimited resources may prove a familiar obstacle.

I mean ,what the actual fuck. Someone got paid to write that shite.
Another lazy lickspittle pseudo journo who fails to understand that FFP makes his quote of "unlimited resources" beyond stupid especially seeing as City have been self sufficient, in profit and debt free since 2014. If City were owned by a country they'd be financed from and have access to a sovereign wealth fund. But they're not and they don't.

It's Boxing Day, 2021.

There are matches still being played today despite matches being cancelled due to Covid. There is still plenty to report and write about.

But the Daily United(Mail) Fanzine has decided to run with this article as it's main headline on Boxing Day, 2021.

Football Journalism is well and truly dead in this country.

Football journalism used to be a trade to respect. I remember queueing outside the newsagent for the Pink and I'd read every word of Peter Gardner and David Meek. Now we just laugh at the rubbish in the press. When it comes to football, they just write articles to sell newspapers or generate clickbait.

It gets serious at times, e.g. when City were getting prosecuted.

Theyre trying to square a circle. They know Pep is revolutionary in his tactics (At least!), but they also "know" its all done with money. And It just doesnt compute amongst our rival fans, but for the media to show the same childish and emotional attitude has been amazing. They know how good Pep is.
