The DT this morning continues the theme of records and noted that nine goals on a Boxing Day was another one, and also the pen that Raheem WON, WON, no yer pillocks it wasn't a raffle is was a fuckin' trip, made his total of pens a PL record. Well, yer third rate hacks at the RDAHMeedya, he should have had another one in the second half - another rugby tackle that took him down. Why is it that if the partially-sighted, humourless Kavanagh didn't see that one, as he didn't see the first, did VAR not whistle down his earhole (I assume his ears were in working order?) and tell him to point at the spot?
The Telegraph called our attack tepid a couple of days ago. This is the same attack who are joint top scorers in the league with 50

Media thread, but not in the usual sub-narrative of History Clubs/Organic Wealth v Nouveau-riche Lottery-winning Abu Dhabi Deplorables. This one’s in the sub-narrative of Nasty Innuendo Journalism. WARNING: the victim is nothing to do with City.

From the inestimable bbc sport - Rangnick is talking about wantaway forward Anthony Martial - is this horrid little splicing of seemingly unrelated points to suggest something it’s got no business to suggest:

Now, I’m not interested in whether or not Anthony Martial has had a COVID-vaccine, and I’m not interested in whether his reasons for choosing to to have a vaccine or not are good ones or bad ones. But the writer of this piece clearly feels the need to suggest, by inviting world-famous Public Health Scientist Doctor Klopp onto the stage, and to suggest he and Deep Thinker Rangnick think as one on the subject of COVID, that the reason Anthony Martial cannot interest another club in signing him in the January window is not because everyone in football has forgotten who he is, but because they’re keen on him as a player, but iffy about his vaccination status.

This kind of nasty gossip is beneath the standards set in the Rovers Return Snug.

I thought watching thousands stream out on 38-40 min mark for half time that we’ve got a fuck load of spoilt ungratefuls in our ranks.

This is the best City team ever and you’re missing 7 minutes of the first half to get an early pint?

Thought the atmosphere picked up again when we conceded the 3rd and the team then got a lift but fuck me, we should be bouncing giving the football we’re playing.
Give over.

I see the bbc are promoting martian wanting to go as "the right time for a change", how very respectful of him toward his boyhood dream club.

No doubt utd will honour his needs and the whole scenario will be played out in a totally "classy " and "mutually agreeable" way.................in the media anyway.

Whatever the real reasons, I have no doubt that they will be kept out of the public domain to preserve the image of the worlds greatest club.

The best thing about it though, is that we will not have to endure the commentators loving cry of a pretentiously pronounced MAAAAARRRRCCCIIIAAAAAAAAAALLLL every time he has an attempt at goal.

Nah.
You’re an antivaxxer as you’ve made clear on the Covid threads so you’ve got your own agenda when making this point about perfectly reasonable reporting.
