the desperation of the Noorth West evening news i have just witnessed is tangible , gloryfying the return of Fakeronaldo then straight into the City negativity Mendy's spell in jail and then on to Pep's interview inferring he's quitting the club in two years time.
The Rags will be lapping it up , if feel good headlines won trophies the Rags would win the quadruple every season , but the reality is Fakeronaldo at 37 is not going to make any difference to their title ambitions , we have two or three decent players who can cover our left back position and its quite possible Pep could deliver another five or six trophies before he departs with our gratitude in a couple of years time.
 
To a rag scouse press pack that hates our guts we have handed a succession of own goals this week . Even if we signed the entire Afghan National squad and paraded them and their families at the Etihad we’d probably get criticism for leaving their pet dog behind. I am struggling to think of any other Corporate body that would not have booted out it’s entire PR Department by now.

Agreed…The clubs PR department has been an absolute shambles for years!
 
I’ve just seen SSN & it seems despite all the technology one of their presenters still relies on delivering the news by telegram…..news just in stop we are hearing stop that very possibly stop that maybe stop ………
 
I hope so much that we’re forced to play Delap because of this, we clean up and he outscores both Ronaldo and Kane, he’s become a £100M+ striker by the end of the season and we can then say thank you to Levy and slur Alex.
