It is sadly too much to ask for it to be pointed out to one of these Rag wankers that they've spent £650m on transfer fees since 2017, which is the most any team in history has ever spent without winning a trophy.

I was banned from redcafe for saying City dont cheat. I said it twice hence banned for being a wum (Been on that site for years never had any issues).

The belief amongst our haters is beyond banter, it is belief! They've been fed this shite for years. Nothing will change, ever.

Hence I hope our owners actually go nuclear with spending on this club, just go out and buy what/who the fuck we want, I suspect it would even earn us more respect.

Exactly, we could go 5 years not spending a penny and play a full team of academy players and still be labelled as big spenders, cheats etc. Our image will never change, it's ingrained in everyone.

they were happy when he left.
The headline is whether The Paper Lad can build a team around him.

After Portugal won the European Cup, our Berni was voted man of the match. There is a photo of Ronaldo with a sour face when the announcement was made.
All the post-match questions to the head coach were about Ronaldo. The coach, visibly irritated, said "If I send just Ronaldo on to the pitch I don't think we can win".
