Sky's youtube comments on the highlights of the game are full of bitters, as are the comments on the BBC sports page of the game. The media seem to have successfully weaponized even the fans without a dog in the fight into hating City. I've never understood what a lower league fan gets out of bashing City. Why are they following United and Liverpool agendas so militantly?

City disrespect the cup in 7 goal shoot out ?

Well on the BBC early breakfast show the EFL doesn't exist ! "Let's start with football" says the presenter, then tells us all about what happened in European league matches before moving onto synchronised underwater knitting championships !! (Made that last bit up, but it might be a sport and the BBC would definitely cover that before reporting on a city game ).

It’s BBC World News till 6am. It’ll be on BreaKfast.

I wake up this morning to Radio 4 Today programme telling me Saint Marcus is now featured as a subject on a GCSE paper! It’s such pathetic journalism. I’d love to know how it’s done. The mole somewhere in the BBC must scrabble around, every time we could be the headline, for any scum titbit they can rake up. It’s laughable really because we know it’s going to happen so are quite immune to it.

It's pretty much the same pool of sad individuals making the comments - most likely fat middle aged trainspotter types, sat there in their undersize replica shirts, sweating whilst struggling to type their bile ridden city bingo lies with pudgy fingers, inbetween wanking over illegal porn - (no one on here like that is there?)

BBC Breakfast football roundup…. Show the dipper‘s goals… blow a bit of smoke up their arse - ignore the winners of the last 4 league cups, failed to mention any other scores. So not a football round up but a Dipper round up. The obsession with the Dippers knows no bounds. Then back to the news… a couple of nothing stories on St Marcus and Gary Neville.
