The Mendy thread is locked so Mods hope this is ok.....
Apparently Eduardo Mendy the Chelsea goalkeeper has complained that media outlets have published his photo when referring to the rape case.
You could put that down to lazy journalism except that the colour of a goalkeepers shirt and a different badge should give the photo editor a bloody big clue.
Is it casual racism, they all look the same and in this case have the same name or is it just disgraceful lazy editing ?

It is when they start getting suspicious you’re seeing someone else and keep mithering about old Facebook photos!
 
Lol, I see the beeb have found a celebrity everton "fan" to represent the opposition in"lawros" prediction thingy for this weekends matches.

Is it somebodies job at the bbc footy dept to trawl the world of celebrities until they find a fan of the team that plays us that weekend, because apart from the obvious 50% rag fans, the other 50% seem to be fans of the team we are playing.

I suppose that twice a season they get their dream of a rag fan and City opponent that weekend..........must be heaven for them.

I am not going to delve back to research it properly but I bet we are the most common in the above scenario.

Its a sort of publicly funded "have a childish dig at horrible City" scenario that is all too common.
 
We do have the odd tendency to make cock ups considering we're told often enough how well run a club we are.
Not that I'm disputing all the excellent things we've done since the takeover or that we are ran by some of the best in the business but I'd like to see us avoid giving people anymore ammunition than they already have to give off the vibe we're up to no good.
