The next 24 days are going to be atrocious to watch listen to in all of our media.
When we go through this evening it will really show the bias against us.
Keep the good recent form going and spoil thier party big style will make for a nice summer.
Come on City
We will obviously be facing a ban again if we go through tonight in tomorrow's media

Just the plucky, shoestring £600m squad.

Allison £70m

Matip £0
Tsimikas £11.75m
Minamito £7.25m
Gomez £4.5m
Keita £54m
Kelleher £1.5m
Milner £0
Jones £0

Ederson £33m
Zinchenko £3m
Laporte £54m
Steffen £7m

Take out the £100m splurge on Grealish and the squad prices are more than comparable.

Especially so, if you factor we bought Fern in 2014 and now 37 and another facing prison.
Yes but don’t forget net spend , oil money and no history blah blah blah

Never really understood the bollocks about net spend.... I'm sure our net spend would be less than most had we sold the likes of Kompany, Aguero, Yaya, Silva, Zabaleta, Hart etc in their prime and cashed in and not got the years we did out of them then let them leave for nothing.
what it means is you improve a player or get lucky that someone beleives the hype and over pays for a player that doesnt want to stay at the club in the first place

Can anyone tell me where I can find the bbc's 'Is Diego Simeone underrated ' ? I've read the Ancelotti one they've done this morning so I must have missed it yesterday

Theyre always going on about having to sell to spend, but have they actually sold who they'd have wanted to keep? I think only Coutinho and Sterling (but they had Ibe, so that was okay).

And as for Coutinho, to use one of their quotes, "what was the next highest bid?". He was massively overpriced. And why?

Well, everyone knew Barca were loaded after selling Neymar to PSG for £200m of 'oil money'. Barca used that 'oil money' to buy Coutinho and Liverpool used it to buy Allison and Van Dijk.

A team built on oil money, who'd have thought it...

Though they'd say it doesn't count as oil money now. Well at what point does the money become 'clean'? It almost sounds like money laundering in some ways, which they should be familiar with due to having Standard Chartered and Western Union a sponsors.

This all has been swept under the carpet.

The parties involved, the timing and amounts involved conveniently solved problems for them all. Record amounts of money for players changed hands with no questions raised.

Can anyone tell me where I can find something positive to read about City in the media, it’s fucking ridiculous this across the board negativity
Are we playing tonight?

By the gist of the headlines this morning klopp is going to star in a porn film and the ending is he eats himself as he's the second coming in football.

You won’t find it mate. We only sell negative articles so the attacks will continue.

City will win tonight.
City is a massive club.
Squad is fantastic.
Pep is a great coach.
City play fantastic football most of the time.

The double is on my friend so sit back and enjoy the pathetic bias noise from everyone not connected to our club.

Fuck the red mafia. City players are world class and will bring home the trophies. Keep the faith. If the worst case happens and we win nothing, we pick ourselves up and go again. Come on City.

Hopeful not entitled.

Bit like the coach attack and plenty of other incidents then ... the sycophantic media here make the cnuts Teflon.
Lots of PR in the media saying how Liverpool have the best player recruitment - with no mention of hacking into Ciy's system and database nor of the ex-City guys they hired. They were found guilty and the cost of this instant fix was a paltry £1m fine with no sanctions.

With the rags being an utter shambles this year the media in this country have gone all cock in hand towards this Dipper Quad nonsense. When it was us doing this last season, it was definitely used against us to try and add pressure. But the giddiness that the media are reporting a team who isn't even top of their own league doing it shows the tsunami of bullshit we are up against.

The fact that they will probably have to overcome a trophy winning machine seems irrelevant to these arseholes in the media as they have already decided this is happening regardless of the fact Klopp has taken longer to win 3 worthwhile trophy's than Pep has to win 8. Let's not forget within that haul it included the most under reported domestic clean sweep that will ever happen.

I truly believe that if we navigate our way to the final (which I believe we will as long as there is no skulduggery from uefa) we will fend off this fairly good but lucky and favoured team to both trophies so the scumbag media can concentrate on their 'What could have been if...' articles.

We are the team of the last decade not these over inflated and over-rated arseholes and when the dust settles on this season, I just know it will be Pep and the boys celebrating.

Come on City!!!!

*tongue in cheek time folks*

I just sent a text message to 81111 the BBC football column thingymabob asking why there was no reporting on another English team playing in Europe tonight and who had been fighting for quadruple last season..... two minutes later...... wow the first mention of Pep and the team!
Coincidence? I did sign it Manchester Neutral (didn't want them ignoring it by signing it Eccles Blue as I normally do. (Not that I send them many just when I get really frustrated with them!!)
:-) :-) :-)

I thought they settled with no admission of guilt?
