Just overheard some bloke on Talktripe ,sounded like JonathanRoss but don't think it was,( not my radio so stuck with it) comparing Pep the Great with Baconface, claiming that Bacon was a better manager as he discovered and brought kids through as if he had discovered them kicking a tin can about in the carpark.
Can't remember the exact details but I'm sure I heard they got them under dubious circumstances and the rules regarding signing up kids were changed as a results Obviously no mention of that.

defo dodgy deals for Scholes from Oldham ? his parents did very well out of Scholes signing for United, Also giggs was schooled at City then signed for united, Brain Kidd was the main man and would visit homes and offer crazy deals to parents for their sons to sign for united

He's a nobody on twitter.

The only way I know about him is this thread.

People should just block and ignore him.
Well that's easily arranged. Call them out on Twatter and they block you - then you never see their shit again.Unless morons post screen shots.
Jobs a good-un

If anyone was thinking of listening to todays The Times football podcast, esp as Rudd isn’t on it, my advice is don’t bother wasting your time.

I think a lot of us 'lesser' club fans love it, its mainly the bitter/bigger club fans that can't handle the fact you have gatecrashed their party and kicked them out.

That football tonight was truly sublime, the goals were excellent, loved Silva's header and was Alvarez's goal his only touch? Certainly his first I think. It was only Courtois who stopped it being 7 or 8 nil

The title is yours and I'll certainly be rooting for you in the FA Cup and CL Final
First game I ever went to was against Wolves on the opening day of the season. We lost 0-2, and I was hooked for life. There's no such thing as a "lesser" club, whichever club you support is the biggest and best club in the world!

Cheers, thought I'd heard there had been some iffy goings-on.

When GPC poached Giggs from City's junior academy Giggs's mum had her house fitted out with brand new white goods. When Butt signed for the rags his dad drove away from the swamp in a brand new Mercedes. And those are just two examples.

Spotty is really riled with those digs. He should have been sacked for spitting at a kid.

We can buy who we want but who have we bought? Grealish was our most expensive player but he's the first in the ADUG era where we've spent over £70m on a single player.

Have we spent £70m on a goalkeeper? What about £70m on a striker who has scored a whole 9 premier league goals this season? What about paying over the odds for a one season defender who we decided against because he was too expensive? We paid less for Dias than they paid for Van Dijk and they bought him 5 years ago, who would they rather have today?

Nope that's Liverpool.

What a tit.

I am peturbed by our players and the friendlyness shown to Spitty, I wish they'd blank him or call him a **** and to go fuck himself, what with his snide, illformed and factually incorrect statements, tweets and ghost written paper articles about City.

City chief executive Ferran Soriano has pointed towards the spending of other Premier League clubs as their critics downplay the club’s achievements.

‘You only have to look at the investment in players in England in the last year, three years, five years,’ Soriano said. ‘We are never the club spending the most on players. There are many other clubs investing more money than us – Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal. Saying that we’ve spent a lot of money and we won because of that is just not true.’

Found this snippet in the mail. At least we are starting to vocalise our feelings on the matter. Small steps and all that.
