MEN : ‘Juergen Klopp says Liverpool and Man City’s Premier League dominance may be over’

One win in 32 years … dominance?
Ref. your and 'Mr Fraser's' comments, I recently replied to another Blue as follows below regarding the media's obsession with Liverpool's so-called 'close run thing' with the quadruple last season and I think it could also apply to the Scousers' involvement in 'dominating' the Premier League in recent years:

"I like my tea weak.. as in 'pour hot water into a mug, then show it a photocopy of a picture of a tea bag, that'll do, thank you kindly'.

That hot water gets nearer to that tea bag than The Anfield Road Formation Brick Throwers got to 'a famous quadruple' last season.."

Henry is like a lot of footy journos - they think the game revolves around them and any opinion they express has to be taken as the gospel truth. They've beaten one of the RDAHMeedya chosen teams twice inside a fortnight, a team which isn't setting anything on fire this season, and so the criteria is met. Brighton are massive.
No no. City are the only MASSIVE.

It's like their description of the supporters, being just a fan isn't enough anymore you have to be a big fan (whatever that is) and only the other day a 105 year old woman was described as a super fan.
Proper fans is another term that pisses me off. Only lower division teams have proper fans.
Ten games a season at Edgeley or Spotland makes you a proper fan. Twenty odd home games and a couple of aways watching a PL team is somehow less proper.

Just been listening to the dulcet tones of Henry Winter on talk shite and he mentioned something on the lines of "we will have to consider Brighton as a big club".

Sorry, but what is the criteria required to be a "big club" and why is it up to Journos to decide who is a big club and who isn't? Why is there also an obsession with labelling clubs as "big"? For me a team is a team, I apply some form of identity to that team.

Also, why should journos who pay nothing to watch football decide who is a "bigg club". Their opinion is void given they aren't fans, just an inconvenience attached to the sport.
We should let more journalist hear this discontent. They used tobreport on games now there is an annoying narrative and agenda to everything they write. TV is obv just as bad, id be happy not reading any dross and sound off when i watch us telly

City is his second team when he feels like it he is a die hard Arsenal supporter and why shouldn’t he be!
because when he played for Arsenal he said in an interview he supported Man City. Obviously he has grown an affinity to Arsenal having played for them for years. Not a bad career move either being considered an Arsenal pundit these days.

Was at the Wigan final and it pissed me off for the whole summer , a missed opportunity in a competiton i have always loved , 3rd round day is still hard to beat in the football calendar , Goons fans stating they arent bothered is a load of bollocks , they would have been gutted with Arteta's team selection.
I'm still pissed off about THAT final!
