According to Rob in his long and special report………

But in more cold, judicial terms, the Premier League's independent disciplinary commission absolutely could take away City's titles. That title could be gone, as could Manuel Pellegrini's from 2014 and Guardiola's first in 2018, though, judging by the charge sheet, not his subsequent three titles in 2019, 2021 and 2022. Yet however huge those possible sanctions seem, or the prospect of City being relegated, a guilty verdict would be even more seismic for English football than a mere clipping of City's wings……

There are more positive and considered narratives to his report.

The ST this morning has found about ten column inches for our magnificent victory against The Arse yesterday, but don't rush out and buy it 'cos it's generally about how Arsenal lost the match and not how City outplayed, outpassed, outran and outscored 'em.

Edit:

Interesting point is that the Arse coach accepts responsibility for starting with a back three instead of a back four. I've just run the YouTube highlights and when Lauren Hemp scored Arsenal had five at the back!

And how delighted was the commentator on Sky when Arsenal pulled one back? Delerious!
Yeah, I watched about ten minutes during which Arsenal got their goal. Change of knickers required, embarrassing frankly.

It actually reads like those ‘3 little words’ are more of an issue for the PL than City.

I wonder why none of the press are talking about the government white paper that is recommending a new governing body? This is a huge story, one that has big ramifications for the cartel clubs.

Why So Etiglad in Sun today...Phil Thomas column full page in centre pullout.

Magnificent.

Of course for our Scouse (not English) "friends" this article will be on the Index of forbidden reading.

Answered your own question.

It will be filled under: “nothing to see here”.

Protect the status quo at all costs and spurs.

Did it get put back two weeks? Will be interesting to read and see what it suggests when it does see the light of day.
