The BBC have changed their tune. And it appears Gary Neville whinging live on Sky Sports and the lockdown protests led by Zebra trousered "Ultras" (encouraged by the former) has had its desired effect.

It was locals jibbing in according to Sky. That lad wearing the suit and the fake UEFA ID who posted on Twatter gloating how he got in had a strange Parisian accent.
 
We really are living in a post-truth society, where blatant mistruths are fed to us as fact (and accepted), despite huge evidence to the contrary - ironically in a time where more stuff is recorded than ever before. PGMOL / VAR decisions are a microcosm of this - lies in plain sight.

Turned out they were not involved in any of the chaos outside and had no issues getting in. He was in the ground an hour before kick off. The ‘stress’ was because he was aware that something was going on outside which triggered fears of Hillsborough, despite being born years after the tragedy.

I don’t claim to know how the disaster affects Liverpool fans but I struggled to understand that one.
