Media thread 2022/23

What's most bothersome is the fact that all the way back in 2022 (can you remember that far back?) we won on the last day, after going 2-0 down with a win that led, to us at least, asking if that was up there with 93:20. It doesn't get more exciting than that. We all lost our collective shit.

Of course, scenes like this (or based on that article the event itself) are forgotten about when either the media or other fans use the "machine-like" or "dispassionate" tags (this years attempt at belittling our club). Cunts. The lot of em.

Are they the scenes where the Villa Keeper was violently assaulted…… a narrative to be used another day but not in “soulless” articles.

Jonathan Wison in The Guardian has just written a piece about even if we do the treble it wont be as good as the rags.

That must be at least 5 articles the media have wrote about this in the last week

The same idiot who wrote an article about City fans getting bored with silverware & wrote several books on the rags

I think he’s an Everton fan but seems as you say to fawn over the Rags.
He claims to be a Sunderland fan. Met him a few times. Really nice guy and, unlike most of his peers, does understand football and tactics.

But it must be written into Guardian writers' contracts that they have to produce one anti-City article a week.

Fairest I’ve heard in a long time

They are shitting themselves & in a way they could be piling the pressure on the Rags to stop us. They’ve gone early with Rags will stop us, won’t mean as much, soulless, drama, blah fucking blah.

I also wondered about all the compliments about our owners & what they have done whilst a bidding process for new owners is going on.
