Alyson Rudd has an article in todays Sunday Times headed "How Brentford & Brighton can be City's downfall".
Not "How City can pull it off" - it's pretty obvious who she wants to win - or not to win.
Always looking for any chance of us slipping up, never the potentially positive outcomes.
Hoping for a QPR style performance, them, West Ham, Brighton and Villa have all tried and been sent packing in the end.

Rudd is a bit weird, looks psychotic to me, as you say never anything positive to say about us.

They're praying for Guardiola's departure from City to "Save" the Premier League! WTF! :-/

ManUre win 13 league titles in 21 years & they're worshipped for their generational brilliance.

City win 4 PL titles in 5, & it's the end of competitive football as we know it!
Someone's twigged and broken ranks.
Just needs someone to properly analyse what "earned" means now. Maybe even concede it was a duopoly based on wealth, bullying and exploitation. Mind you there'd be no invites onto lad mag programmes and to journalism awards.

The cunts are just making it up as they go along.

There is the camp of building it up to say it’s inevitable so they can tarnish any achievements we make
Then there’s the camp of acting like it’s done already so they can laugh when we fail.
Jonathan Wilson is a grade A cock!
How can they write off something we have not yet achieved as being not as good??
What if we lose in Madrid 3-0 and then win 4-0 at home
What if we are 1-0 down in unjustly time in the FA cup final and win
They are scared of it happening that’s all!

Agree with your analysis and especially the last comment.

One other point about the comparisons with the 1999 treble and any potential 2023 treble is, in denigrating the latter before it might happen, they are seeking to preserve the memory of the former in the consciousness of the footballing world.

However, in today’s fast-moving world, younger fans only care about recent history. Unless you’re a rag, any subsequent treble - whoever achieves it, will be the one they‘re interested in.
