What the press/media are forgetting about Haaland when comparing him to ex players is VAR.

Van Nistelrooy, Rush, etc etc how many of their goals would have been ruled out by VAR ? Van Nistelrooy would only have about 5 goals if VAR was around back than !.

All Haaland goals are 100% legal goals something you cant say about strikers before VAR

Another thing about these old goal scoring records that we keep hearing about. Dixie Dean, Pongo and their mates, is there was no such thing as an own goal back then. Or a cross that narrowly avoids everyone and goes straight in. Anything remotely within touching distance of the striker, they claimed it and that’s the end of it.

You simply can not compare yesteryears game with the modern game, even into the nineties players were often out on the piss, todays game is highly technical and much more athletic , top players are athletes in their own right

Sly spurts spews
Liverpool march on with stunning win over big spending Fulham and Bellingham chooses Madrid glory over Manchester (City) millions
Ahhh, that would be the RM glory that sees them sat in 3rd place in La Liga, a cool 14 points behind leaders Barcelona, and 1 point behind their city neighbours.

I'd love us to get Bellingham, but not at all costs. if he wants to win things and work with the planet's best manager, he comes to City. If he wants a warmer climate and more money, then good luck in Madrid.

Even in the opening exchanges,he was cringeworthy in his desperation.....almost begging the ref to book both Dias and Walker.

The bias is not right,a commentator should display impartiality, and while Neville can offer good insight......he is anything but fair where we are concerned.

The **** talks more bollocks about his time at the rags than he talks about City while commentating on city games He’s a sad sack of shit.
