Thanks to whoever posted the analysis from espn on here, quite interesting mainly through the prism of Madrid as expected for a us broadcast. The host was very good and fair, which was needed as their British "journalist" was (no) mark odgen. He sounds thicker than he looks, and he makes Tony fucking Evans look like an actual human!!! Came across as suicidal so presumably a legacy ragdipshite. Was funny seeing him on TV tying himself in knots trying to show players would rather go Barca, Madrid or laughably, stretford!!!!!
Had a rather unproductive day where I've just been trying to read as many articles on last night's magnificent epic. To me it seemed like praise through clenched teeth but fyck em. liew, deloony and wilson stood out as especially bigoted. I hope we'd release the "blue haired lawyers" on harris but probably don't want the adverse publicity going for a sub moron.
I actively try to ignore/ avoid Granada reports (local itv station) as I despise dipper lucy meacock and abhorrent rag gamal. But I wanted to rewatch the goals, most of which I missed last night!
Anyway to be fair to them, had a very touching piece about their late colleague Tony Morris who died of kidney cancer 3 years ago, and his daughter was running to raise funds for research, fair play.
Anyway the piece on the match was good, lovely fan reactions after the game. In studio they spoke at length to I think
@twosips who came across very well with dear old Denis Tuart, very well done!
By contrast the local Beeb programme with Roger Stoke **** johnson was quite belittling with much use of if/ may/ possibly..... you get the idea.
At least the fans came over loud proud an passionate. Think the build up to both finals will be attritional with every piece of crap they can throw.
Hopefully we will have the last laugh.
