Don't whatever you do read the Guardian's concert reviewer - yes, the Guardian's concert reviewer - explain why he hates City in a major opinion piece. And yes, every single bingo card gets a mention....
He's a Villa fan which explains a lot.

They really do hate us as shown by their antics at the league cup final in 2020

I do know one decent Villa fan but by virtue of being married to me she's virtually a blue these days anyway. Its quite funny listening to her point out to other villa fans they are talking bollocks :-)

There are three villa fans in my local bar and all have said they want us to win it.

The press give us a bad name who are trying in every way to play down and look for every excuse to bad mouth us when they can,but deep inside them it’s killing them and the more they spout Shite the more successful we become
i Think that if you asked any true football fan would they swap places with our club you’d be hard pressed to find one who would say no

It's astonishing that he thinks football was a level playing field before City, and only gives a bit of a mention to Chelsea.

When United won the treble, the 3 richest clubs in the PL had revenues of:

United £110m
Chelsea £59m
Arsenal £49m

As a Villa fan, he surely remembers that their own billionaire sugar daddy blew well over £250m without making a dent in United's dominance.

The ending of shared gate receipts, formation of the Premier League, Champions League expansion to 4 teams, the uneven split of increased TV money, FFP. That's why football is uneven.

When you add in the increased commercialisation which benefits only the best known teams, the effect is supercharged. Why on earth being able to promote noodles in Singapore should give you an advantage in the Premier League is just beyond me :/

And yet, it's all about Manchester City.
