I've just read a most uplifting article on the BBC website explaining that Salah's new contract "goes beyond football" because of his religious observances and his general niceness. It's very good of Liverpool paying him hundreds of thousands of pounds a week whether he scores goals or not, just for being good for football. I'm sure the Echo could get a good story out of this crap.

Obviously it means more dont you know, do the bbc actually state the money involved in this "goes beyond football" contract, or are those crudities not worth mentioning all of a sudden. In case, heaven forbid, anyone might think there is a massive wage involved.

This isnt a dig at Salah btw, as I am sure hes a decent guy, but the bbc............nausea inducing biased journalism only made possible by the unique way they are funded.
