You can pretty well plot his complete change of approach to the days between winning the title at Brighton (where he was pretty complimentary) and the Watford FA Cup Final in 2019 (where he seemed to have turned on us). Someone or something got to him in those few days.

The press conference after that FA Cup Final was also the one where Rob Harris opened with his infamous question about under-the-table payments. It's hard not to conclude that someone, somewhere flicked a metaphorical switch.

That's interesting , I don't follow much of what the media says these days, as there is always a barb with every compliment.

I used to listen to talksport alot but now I hardly bother because of the likes of Simon Jordan and his constant digs. It's interesting that when I have listened and they are talking about City and asking for City fans to call, hardly any do? Why would you bother.

Delaney may well be intelligent. He has a degree in journalism after all, as he kept reminding someone.

But it's so, so easy to make him look like a gormless, thick twat. If you are genuinely intelligent, you have the ability to marshal facts, form a coherent argument and understand someone else's point of view, maybe even find significant common ground. But he's just a troll who appears to possess none of those abilities.

Therefore one can only conclude he genuinely is a gormless, thick twat.
