What's it going to be like if we're top before the WC break.
Whoops...Tell me it wasn't a leap year. I couldn't stand an extra day of Dipper glory!
He seems to have been remarkably quiet about Saudi Telecom sponsoring United for the last 14/15 years ?? StrangeA bit hypocritical of me because i was just moaning the other day about us fans focusing on too much negative news but this was not about us, well actually it was if your read the text. It was about Newcastle but he meant us aswell. Who the hell does ratface think he is when asking why the Saudis were allowed in to the premier league? He says nothing about all these american owners taking their clubs profits and not reinvesting them ? That's why the rags and dippers arn't competing like they should. Sorry if this is was old news, it may have been just requoted on Sly today. I should've ignored it but I didn't. Feel free to post titanic picture LOL!
"There will always be question marks about them [the owners]. How were the Saudi Arabians accepted into the Premier League? We don't know. There's no transparency and there's no independence.
"The reality is these questions are not going to go away, but I don't believe they should be directed always to the football coach... I'm not saying he shouldn't get asked questions, but the owners and the executives should be the ones taking these questions - as well as the Premier League."
He was obviously completely inebriated on Saturday evening when he posted the comments. I left a few comments pointing this out together with a few other reminding him of his hypocrisy. He must be on a 3 day bender as I am not blocked yet and he is currently calling out Everton and their fans for "being snide" about Hillsborough!!!! This is not going to end well for him!!!Or reply to anything you disagree with and you're blocked.
The simple reason is that unpalatable as it is to some, the Saudis buy a helluva a lot of British goods and arms, keeping quite a few British people in well paid jobs! For our government (Conservative or Labour) would never risk this trade relationship by allowing the Premier League to block the deal. Once the Bein sports pirating issue was sorted (small fry to the Saudis) even the Qataris gave it their blessing!A bit hypocritical of me because i was just moaning the other day about us fans focusing on too much negative news but this was not about us, well actually it was if your read the text. The clubs should be explicit with the reporters before the press conference and tell them the manager will only answer football related questions. Any dissent will result in an immediate two week ban and the question will be ignored. If the press have questions regarding ownership or funding etc they should speak with the management of the club or the Premier League who have OK'd the owners via their own internal investigations and due diligence and have deemed them 'fit & proper' owners. In other words a very polite way of saying leave the politics out, stick to the football or just fuck off!A bit hypocritical of me because i was just moaning the other day about us fans focusing on too much negative news but this was not about us, well actually it was if your read the text. But they have invested in the rags & Arsenal. They have invested millions. It just never gets mentioned or simply brushed under the carpet. Absolute hypocrites. It's genuinely laughable. Is OK from the middle east to incest billions in London but if they challenge the more successful teams in England it's sportswashing and they are horrible people. Do u think anything would have been said if they would have invested in rags dippers or arsenal?
Is he though? He's asking questions he knows full well he's not going to get answers to and wants answers from people who have no need or desire to respondThe simple reason is that unpalatable as it is to some, the Saudis buy a helluva a lot of British goods and arms, keeping quite a few British people in well paid jobs! Gary for all his postering as a future labour candidate is a little thick and naive!
Sheffield United have Saudi ownership but nobody says anything about that because they’re no threat to the established order. The people who call out sports washing, human rights etc. really don’t give a shit about all that, they just don’t want their clubs challenged. Is OK from the middle east to incest billions in London but if they challenge the more successful teams in England it's sportswashing and they are horrible people. he actually said it was a penalty a push and a trip also haalands was a penAs Dermot not been on yet bemoaning our penalty?

Do arsenal play at Highbury stillIs OK from the middle east to incest billions in London but if they challenge the more successful teams in England it's sportswashing and they are horrible people. Do u think anything would have been said if they would have invested in rags dippers or arsenal?
Two week ban, behave, a nice jolly beheading at half time would be ok ;-)The clubs should be explicit with the reporters before the press conference and tell them the manager will only answer football related questions.
