Some media city rag **** in 5 live sports bulletin this morning, manages to squeeze in that Haaland was no good at heading til OGS taught him at Molde, talk about tenuous you rag prick. The same OGS who managed him yet couldn’t convince his club to buy him. Now listening to Steven know nowt Warnock prattling on about Haalands wages - about half of what Ronaldo is on and probably less than Salad is on you bitter scouse ****
So what about his salary. The top in their field get top wages, in all walks of life.

Very positive from the DT this morning, but there's still the notion that MANUre had only to grow a bit of confidence and belief in order to blunt the City cutting edge. What utter bullshine! On the basis of footballing talent, skill, tactical acumen, never mind the belief and confidence City had, the Rags were well and truly battered. A derby drubbing the like of which I'd not seen at the Etihad! We'd come close a couple of times - the game with the 44-pass goal - but this was the drubbing of drubbings.
It is very obvious that United's players are not very good technically and they have recruited badly. If you bring in players from the Dutch League to the PL the result is not a surprise. Despite all the media hype about United's back four they are sub standard players. Varane is the same player we saw for Real Madrid and that's why they got rid of him. He's over the hill. McTominay and Fred are still shit and Erikson was past his best even before his health issues. David De Gea is still the world''s most overrated goalkeeper and Sancho is painfully slow. Rashford is terrible and has not progressed. The fact he was named as player of the month for two breakaway goals he scored in September is absurd. The whole club needs a reallity check. For example Brighton have much better players as we will see when they come to the Etihad. Long may the delusion continue.

I'm.hearing more and more from the media that the PL has gone from the toughest/most competitive league in the world to a farmers league now

But it was all hunky dory when United won 13 of the first 21 Premier League titles and back in the 70s and 80s when Liverpool won 10 out of 15 consecutive Division 1 titles. The media lauded them as great teams. While City are now ruining football. The hypocrisy is off the scale.

100% agree with you mate. There's 2 articles in the Guardian saying much the same. The bitterness and jealousy runs so deep.
This has been a magical era for City and English football - they never, ever mention how Pep has revolutionised the game in this country which is something the rags and German rags etc have not done

I just watched CNN's sports programme and Darren Lewis was on the vinegar strokes in his gushing praise of Haaland and the City team in general. Interestingly he said that when Haaland scored his second goal many in the press box spontaneously stood up marvelling at his genius. He was asked how other teams could plan to cope with Haaland and he basically said there's no way because the rest of the team are so good that if they try to shackle Haaland somebody else will pop up and hurt them. Joy to the ears.
