Carragher makes some good points here.
Time to stop worrying about the critics. Fuck them all
With utter crap like this in it?

'Premier League investigation into whether City broke Financial Fair Play rules has been ongoing for three years and it is naive to believe questions about their extraordinary and era-defining spending power will disappear. Attempts to downplay the significance of the champions’ finances in their success are absurd. Last season, only two clubs - City and Newcastle United - abstained from a Premier League vote blocking teams agreeing lucrative sponsorship deals linked to a club's owners. Why?'

Let's be clear on one thing - Sheikh Mansour is NOT our owner.
How do we know this? Because Delooney said so and probably on the back of conversations/recent tweets from McGeehan. "Log-rolling" in action, (Thks Longsight for that expression).

Miguel continued to decline the invitation or indeed furnish any further concrete evidence to substantiate his claim.

Dear God, that is such an incredibly weak argument. It's an absolute monarchy so all the state's assets belong to the King's brother? We know AD is an absolute monarchy, we also know Mansour isn't the absolute monarch. If he had access to all the state's wealth, he would be worth a few pennies more than he is.

'So why are they so unhappy?'

Look at all of those unhappy City fans.

Not a dig at you by the way mate, just sick of this narrative that we're unhappy. Sick of the scousers would be a better way of putting it.

'So why are they so unhappy'

This is a trope that a lot of people in the media like to throw around. I remember Jonathan Wilson for one producing a piece on the same theme, but others make the same observation.

It's fallacious:

1. We think a huge swathe of British football journalists and media pundits are utter cunts.

2. We're nonetheless very happy with the state of our club.

The above two propositions are in no way contradictory or mutually exclusive.

They couldn't even get their facts right.

"Eighteen clubs voted in favour of the freeze, while Newcastle voted against and Manchester City abstained after their lawyers advised them the vote was unlawful."

Sick of all the scouse sycophants from nowhere near dipperland in the press you could have said.
