It's not rocket science, is it. Players wages are paid because of sponsorship deals and to a lesser extent, gate receipts. The women's game doesn't attract these sponsors who will pay enough to enable teams to pay the big bucks.
It's not mens football that's the problem.
Go and sell the product to the money men.
Sponsors want TV exposure more than anything else. Those money men will only come across if TV stations give it the exposure. How to persuade them to broadcast womens game? Remember Blatter saying they should wear tighter shorts!

BBC again. Just after choosing us as the example instead of the WSL champions Chelsea in their wages report and as always getting it totally wrong by not mentioning the wage cap in the WSL have now run a story about football fans being scammed over fake tickets and of course main photo is a Man City photo.
Surely after Paris, the Dipper fans should have been the main Photo.

When is our club, PR going to say enough is enough with the BBC and start denying them access over the clear red top bias they have

The BBC is the worst of the lot with its anti city campaign.
Really is a nasty organisation

They can’t even bother reporting it now on sky this is a massive story no one wants to go near!

Unless it’s dishing the dirt on us media don’t give a fuck!
too busy sucking up to gravy train and the ponce leaving they can see pound notes drifting away from subcriptions
still they can talk more about pogba then

“Organised and clear”
Next question: Why has no journo mentioned this before? Several must have known.
Simon Kuper is a journalist and literary put it in a book in 2021. It hasn't been kept quiet by the cartel.

The media always goes for the headlines, so if we win fairly we get the headlines, but otherwise the press just want to appeal to the biggest audience. In the past, the likes of the Salford and Anfield clubs got a lot of publicity, so their former players were recruited as commentators and pundits. Now we are up there, and in ten or twenty years, if we continue to be as successful as we are now, the media will be inundated with former City players, so even if we go backwards, we will be in the headlines, just like the Salford and Anfield clubs are right now

BBC yet again, they really are going overboard at the moment:

The WSL season starts on Saturday, 10 September, with Tottenham at home to Alessia Russo and Ella Toone's Manchester United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The BBC will show Millie Bright's Chelsea begin their title defence on Sunday, 11 September. The match against West Ham kicks off at Stamford Bridge at 12:30 BST and will be live on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.

After that, the BBC will show Aston Villa's match against Manchester City from Villa Park on Sunday, 18 September

i guess we had no players let alone the match winner in the England team then

the only thing on the wires...
