Not like a Liverpool influenced newspaper to chat shit is it?
Did you see the end of the article?

Says that the club really liked him and that they wish he was still there at the club.

This is the start of the sterling-esque headlines with Erling, always looking on the negatives.

I don't see this as a negative to be honest. At least not until he moves to Madrid

True.

Pushed back then, they haven't cancelled the football either but all I see is people moaning about it.

I thought it was a political decision. Sick on a personal level and just can't understand the reasoning.
Spent the morning playing golf. The afternoon watching live Sport all in London.
Perhaps it's the company I keep but I haven't spoken to anyone who is in anyway grieving or thinks weekend should have been cancelled.

Are you hoping for 'if you tell a lie often enough it will become the truth'?
You could become a good poster if you didn't talk bollocks.
It was the PL and FA who cancelled the football programme this weekend not the government which has been pointed out by many posters already.
Try reading what I actually posted.
The government passed the buck to the various sporting bodies. If the government can't be arsed to make a decision, why leave it to the premier league, a body who's business they seem happy to stick their noses in when interfering over payments to lower league clubs. They should have told them to carry on as normal.

Why is it cowardly ? My regret is for those fans who have paid hundreds if not thousands of pounds to travel to see premier and EFL games this weekend and not have the chance for re inbursement. Otherwise, I don't see a problem in cancelling the weekends games. Alot of people who already have a distaste with football because of the amount of money in the game will have a little more respect for it because of the decision with not only football but other sports too. I just feel it wouldn't be right people jumping up and down with joy when the country is in shock and mourning. Besides we still have a big game Wednesday.

Somebody tonight will win a lot of money on the lottery, it will change their life and their families life forever. Somebody will meet their life partner tonight, someone they have been looking for for years. Some couples will have a first child tonight, maybe after years of trying. What do you want them to do? Be happy? Hug? Kiss? Cry with joy? Sit and fuckin mourn?

I'm not in shock or mourning and I don't hate the queen or royalty

One, it isn't a shock when a 96yo frail old lady dies.
Two, I didn't know her, so there is no mourning to be done.

I went to work and worked hard as always, nobody was saying don't go to work, stay at home and mourn the passing of the queen.

I appreciate what they have brought to the country but it is hard to be truly upset tbh though it would have been good if she got to 100 and sent herself a telegram :)

But its Ok for Rugby followers (both codes), Cricket fans and Racegoers to jump up and down though?
Racing been cancelled in the UK since her death, though I believe it is back on tomorrow.

A nice tribute to her at every game bar Celtics and the Scouse idiots and job was a good un.

They will still hold one when they play the next set of games anyway, so it is a little odd to cancel all the football imo

I still had muppets coming into my walk in centre with fuck all wrong with them. The Aldi opposite was still packed all day. Night followed day.

@WRicko Why? Only a short while back he was saying what a wonderful woman Her Madge was. If he can't make up his mind he should spare us all his inane rants.
Doesn’t make it racist if anything I would say it’s racist or at least suggests racism to say he is racist for saying what he did when it wasn’t at all racist don’t even think it was wrong

Sometimes things happen to change peoples’ views on things.

Imagine finding out that someone thought Ginger Spice was a scouser.

That changes your view on someone instantly.
