Klopp once again moaning about City's spending, change the fucking record. I hope we give them a footballing lesson on Sunday and once again he can harp on about how unfair everything is.

Missing VVD aswell for some reason

Klopp's interview in the Guardian today states as fact that City are "Gulf-state-owned" and says we have no financial ceiling and "can do what we want." It's not clear if Klopp has been misquoted but the writer presents these statements as facts. It is a lie to say we are state-owned. Not even Der Spiegl or UEFA have ever made that allegation. We have 13 years of accounts which prove it is a lie. We were also cleared of receiving state aid in court by three judges.
By reporting these false statements the Guardian is suggesting our accounts are false (which would be illegal). They are suggesting that our owner, our senior managers, and scores of auditors have behaved illegally. City must respond to these comments and demand a retraction. We should also make a formal complaint to the PL because Klopp's comments (if reported accurately) have breached PL rules by bringing the game into disrepute.
This latest smear is part of the ongoing dirty tricks campaign by senior people at LFC and we can't allow it to continue without a challenge.
We should also demand assurances from LFC and Merseyside police that the coach attack (and that's what it is) being planned for tomorrow is prevented from happening instead of being facilitated as it was last time. If they can't provide protection for our players we should ask for a postponement.
Unfortunately we won’t say a word or lift a finger. That’s why it happens and continues to happen. We are a soft easy target and they know it. Hence this kind of crap yet again on the eve of a big match. When it comes to the media we are a laughing stock.

Most “journalists” are never going to call out Klopps whining and especially hypocrisy. That would only sour the cosy arrangement.

City are never going to win a media war with “The Reds” loving media ( if we didn’t have Pep the bile and hypocrisy would be worst)

As Martin Samuel inferred in a recent article it’s the teams in red that the football establishment revere.

There’s too much money for a lot of the media to make by fawning over “The Reds”. When these teams benefitted from effectively an unfair Champions League based cartel the usual suspects attacking City said nothing.

When City got taken over no concern was expressed by the “the Reds” loving media of us dominating. The assumption was that the natural order would be maintained and by some that City were after all a bit of joke.

Whilst their silence at times irritates why should our owners respond to the likes of Delaney and Crafton etc. Best ignore these hypocrites. By doing so you don’t help to fund them.
Agreed. The volume of plastic fans these 2 have, mean it would be commercial suicide to change course from the existing narrative. It is what it is…

Mail (why are these not banned from the ground yet) back page today peddling the new lie that Dippers cannot compete with us as we are paying Haaland 850k a week.
The clubs pathetic non existent PR team should have laughed at this nonsense when it was first reported.

Obviously no mention of how much Nunez cost or Salah wages in the story
But our PR team is fantastic mate. Vicky Kloss did a fantastic job. There’s a thread on here which tells us that. She was a big blue as well! What more could we want?

I think you are right. I am not suggesting we should make an issue of every absurd thing written about us because that would have little impact. But there are moments when the smear tactics go too far. When an opposition manager makes public comments about an opposition club which accuse us (falsely) of breaking the law (false accounting) you can't ignore it. Managers are always being fined for their flippant comments which impune the integrity of referees. What Klopp has said today (if he has not been misquoted) is a fucking disgrace. I actually think City will pursue this one but not till after the match next week. Klopp is essentially saying our club, and that means Pep as well, are crooks.
These comments by Klopp will also inflame their thug fans (who are already planning an attack on our coach) ahead of tomorrow's match. His comments will lead to violence and innocent fans will suffer. The Roma incident at Anfield, where an innocent miiddle-aged Liverpool fan almost lost his life, WAS fuelled on social media following the attack on our coach. Merseyside police and LFC are partially to blame for what happened on that occasion.

Pep says lfc are our greatest rival and still in for title.

klopp moans about City finances.

Says everything about the two clubs.
Very true.sems to me that it is:

City: We'll accept and try to overcome any challenge, when we fail we congratulate and then make it the benchmark.

Liverpool: We'd win everything if it wasn't for other clubs being better than us, and anyone better than us has to be cheating.

Christ, I feel an asthma attack coming on after reading that. Pass me my inhaler. Quick.

Exactly, too many on here have thin skin. We don't want to engage in a media war we cannot win. The smart move is to ignore and keep on winning, it winds them up even more.
I agree you can't fight every battle. That would be counter-productive. But there is a difference between fake statements made by loons on Twitter (like Delaney) and lies put out by an opposition manager like Klopp. We really can't let that go. If Pep said something similar about another club the PL would throw the book at him. Klopp is inciting hate ahead of tomorrow's match and that has consequences when both sets of fans are already stoked up. There will be trouble tomorrow as usual at Anfield and in Liverpool city-centre but it is rarely reported by the media.

EDIT: I have just checked and what is interesting is that only the Guardian seems to use the phrase "Gulf-state-owned" and some of the other papers seem to have softened their online stories. I wonder if City have been proactive for once. Perhaps Klopp's comments have been twisted by the Guardian.

There you go Jim.

Because they are terrified that they won’t be let back in, unlike our club who seem to let almost anything go.
Bingo was probably instructed to say that by the owners to keep the narrative going.
And terrified the Cult will find out which school their kids go to, will string their cat up to the gatepost when they get home. Nothing is beneath these contemptible lot. I have stated many times before those in the media are scared of writing/saying anything negative about Liverpool FC for the safety of themselves and their loved ones.
