Just read an article in the DM that is critical of us planning to put netting up round the Liverpool fans in April. How it will resonate with them and carry a deep significance.
Tell them to behave then.
I imagine it's a made up story to make us look bad
Was the story from "a source" at the Etihad ?

I'm waiting on the BIG NEWS on how City's expulsion will CHANGE the PL table.

Liverpool up to 9th.
Chelsea join the Top 8.
Man Utd stay 7 points off the top.
Spurs into 4th for CL Glory! *
(*If Brighton don't win their games in hand).

AND IT'S LIVE!

I don’t think the 30 or so UK development projects by AbuDhabi are at risk. They used City as a gateway to those contracts which is fair business practice. They could sell City but leave the rest of their extremely profitable UK business in tact.
Interesting, can you confirm this?

The Ian Herbert article in the DM is utterly outstanding.

He goes on to list the incidents that have contributed to this intense rivalry and the list is pretty much all Liverpool actions and still has the gall to criticise City.

He is the worst out the fucking lot him.

I know what a Herbert

I wonder how the alleged financial impropriety news is going down in Abu Dhabi? Media probably ignore it.

Who was it by mate? Let me guess, surely not the Conn mkII himself, he of the Lonesome Roy Carroll blog whilst at Oxford, Pity-Brooke?

Yes, it was Jack Pitt-Brooke, another City Uncle Tom. I had no wish to read the article even though I have six days remaining of my most recent annual subscription to The Athletic, because Jack is like one of those weaselly little kids we can all remember at school, so desperate to be part of the gang with the cool kids that he's always pathetically trying to curry favour with them.

I saw his tweet that introduced his piece (not because I follow him but because, unfortunately) someone retweeted it. He was banging on about it being time for City fans to divorce their sense of the club's identity from that of the Abu Dhabi ownership or some such nonsense. IF we're found guilty on the most serious charges, then fair enough, but he doesn't even countenance the prospect, which makes his views impossible for me to respect.

I've banged on about my disdain for The Athletic before so am loath to do so again, but just to say that my experience after being lured back in by a £12 cut-price annual offer mirrored that of the poster above. It took literally two days for me to regret it as well, even at that bargain-basement price. I've had it for the entire period since February 17 last year, but have barely read it and now wouldn't even accept a free subscription.

No, this is clearly an opinion. I can’t see any reason why the development companies would abandon long held plans for projects which are nothing to do with football.
Thanks. It was stated as fact and thought that it would be huge if there was proof.

I see the Guardian wanker Jonathan Lies trying to advertise a beer company on his black shirt for the Back Page review on Sly Sports last night...

How will his holier than thou conscience cope with such subliminal oversights...
The Guardian are poison when it comes to
anything to do with City. Whether it’s their anti Arab / anti City crusade or their pre World Cup
interview with KDB that had him (maybe self inflicted) mocking his Belgium team mates chances, as well as bragging about him being intelligently superior compared to the English, City “thickos”.

Not one story on the sky sports app about us and this shite from the premier league, looks like they've removed all links and stories, this after we had about 5 or 6 stories about us up there when the witch hunt started.

I wonder if they've been told to remove them?

But on the flipside of that it's all the rags and Qatar and backslapping from that absolute prick solekhol.

I flipped onto SSN a few years ago, only to see this guy and another Rag puppet blowing Smokey up the red clubs arses, are they still promotng the Rag news for them?

Ps. Just looked on the net and he has little history WRT journalism. Looks like a Sky designed influencer.

The positive press Qatar are getting now after the hand wringing and faux disgust before the World Cup. Where the bbc even refused to show the opening ceremony and we had to endure Lineker and Alex Scott almost in tears about it! Well it’s just fucking astounding!
