To be fair there aren't many English teams I'd want to win if they were in the same position! I know there's been this whole "support the English clubs" but that's bollocks. Most of the people phoning in are rags or dippers so clearly wouldn't want us to win it. A lot will probably be indifferent. Some like Arsenal might not want us to win it as they haven't yet either...

You'd expect the media to be fully supportive of us though, especially when you look at the dark arts in the Spanish media ahead of games like this. But our own fucking league structure doesn't support us by putting our game earlier last weekend etc so no surprise.

This has come from Carragher suggesting last week that Gerrard is held in higher regard because he had so many big moments, including in Istanbul. Henry put him straight but it's gained traction.

Gerrard scored 6 goals in the CL knockouts. 1 in a final. De Bruyne has 11 of his 14 CL goals in the knockouts. He's just scored the equaliser at the Bernabeu and he scored the winner there a couple of years ago. How the fuck are people suggesting he's not world class?!

An update on the PL charges will be leaked in the week running up to the FA Cup Final or the following week before the Champions League Final if we get there. It will just be a few unsourced comments with the trail well covered. This is the reality we have been dealing with for the last decade.

De Bruyne has created virtually all our defining moments in the last seven years. We wouldn't have won any of those ten trophies without him. He has scored key goals or created assists in all our biggest matches against opponents like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG, Liverpool, Arsenal, United, and Chelsea. He has destroyed some of the best teams in world football again and again. The lack of respect from some elements within the English media for him is disgraceful. He is widely respected by opposition fans, especially proper ones who attend matches.

Harry Kewell and Steve Finnan have champions league medals as well as our third choice goal keeper. The three mention there, have they had the same careers as Kevin De Bruyne? Have they fuck, why should someone’s career be defined by a competition where you don’t play every team in it? People associated with Liverpool seem to have a mental block that being consistent for 38 games a season, playing everyone and then beating them shows how good a team or player is. Kevin De Bruyne is about to achieve 3 in a row for league titles, Liverpool only have one in 34 years. The last one before that you could pass back to the goal keeper.
