And however much you try to paint Bentner is a postive light he's shite, along with his taste in boots.

I wouldn't go as far as to say he's shite, although for much of the first half of last season I was cursing his name. His first touch is poor at times and it does seem that it takes him five chances to get a goal but I think he does bring some strength to the side and the aerial ability that we often lack. I know people always harp on about his age, but the lad is still only 21 and I'm sure he has got time to improve. Hopefully next season if Ade does indeed leave he will be able to come into his own and get into form with a string of starting appearances.

Adebayor had a stint where he scored 12 goals in 9 matches. Six of his goals came against the worst premier league side ever. His goal tally was a fluke.

Quit making a fool of yourself. Ade is a class striker and will be missed, who gives a shit about the fickle fans who booed him when he wanted and got a pay rise, here I was thinking this was his profession rather than just a hobby.

Guys stop feeding the troll, I will..as they say if you argue you with an idiot they'll only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

But one last point the video I linked the muppet was a showing his link-up play nothing to do with his goal scoring, bursting another of his flawed arguments.

I'm a fan of Adebayor.

u do realise tht this is city coming for ur players, the same club thats doing its best to prise john terry away from chelsea... If we come in big for ANY of your players u will sell. u have no choice ur new stadium fucked ur club over BIG TIME.

So why haven't you signed Fabregas and Arshavin yet? If we were willing to sell you would come in. That is unquestionable...

unquestionable i think is the wrong word ....... more or less the opposite, because a huge idea that contradicts yours jumped straight into my mind .....

why would we go in for them? ..... at the moment, we dont really need them ..... we have Ireland, who last season was better than Fabregas ... and robi is better than arse-shaving anyway ....... so at the moment, we dont need them ! we are only going in for players in positions we need to strengthen ! .... in the future, yes we would go in for them .... well Fab anyway .... but he will prob go to Barca anway so thats a non starter ... and we wont go in for Arse in a few seasons as he would be ancient for a winger ! .........

unquestionable .......no, and if we did go in for them ..... with the boardroom trouble you club is having ..... and the percieved lack of ambition of the club, im fairly confident we would get them ....

You think the problem lies with the fans?

Get your facts straight. You are talking about a player who has been banned from playing for his country in the past. A player who skipped training. And a player who had the cheek to ask for Henrys wages.

I only watch Arsenal games and you are wrong. The reason Wenger has sanctioned this transfer is because he wants strikers who can link up with Arshavin and Fabregas. Adebayor's passing, first touch and decision making is so woeful that even Bendtner is a better option when Arshavin is playing...

So your a fan of players with woeful decision making abilities aswell as first touch, pass and is worse than Bentner!?

Really your not doing yourself any favours at all.

But carry on as it's keeping me entertained.

to be fair, any club that could afford it would give him the same wages as a reward for that incredible season he had to to keep barca and milans hands off him, as your club has a very strict wage structure (which i think arse-shaving has broken?) even if he aint as good as Henry (which he isnt IMO when compareing the primes of the players ...although Ade hasnt reached his yet ! ) ...... you gotta jack up the wages ... like your fellow fan said .... its a profession .... if you have that much leverage and dont put a squeeze on your boss a bit then your an idiot .... simple business sense, especially in todays footballing world where you have to try to keep up with god's only club ! ... CITY !

ps/ good night boys .... keep the idiot in check though will ya? :-D

bring on day 2 of amazing transfer week !!

Lots of the best players come with a bit of an ego but you have to accept that. I've always hated the argument of players being only in it for the money, it is their job and they have a right to treat it as such, so they can ask for a pay rise when they do well (i.e. score 30 goals in a season, over double our next highest) and can switch clubs for better wages if they want (Arsenal to City).

The fact is, Ade is a very good striker and he will be missed, his attitude which many people have a problem with will not be missed, but his goal scoring, link up play and his ability to hold up the play will be.

Adebayor = Good player, bad attitude. Good job City are buying him based on his ability otherwise they would be really peed off.

He is a workhorse (excluding last season) who is quick and tireless. He is strong. And he is great in the air.

That is why I like Adebayor as a player.

deleted as no wish to offend opposing fans or their brown-nosers on here. Hey, I'm itk. Oh no, I've been quoted!

It is footballers jobs to act proffesionally. If Adebayor wanted a transfer he should have handed in a transfer request or asked Wenger.

If Adebayor wanted higher wages then using Milan as a tool to get there isn't going to get you many fans.

He has fallen out with Togo, Monaco and Arsenal. Every club eventually get fed up with his antics. The strong comments from Monoco sum him up...

Where has this phrase 'you aren't worried' come from? Everyone I have spoken to believes that Man City will challange the top four next season.
