Meeters and Greeters....Lord have mercy.........

Instead of increasing ticket prices fuck jobs like this off. Seriously how many of us want to endure the cheesefest that the etihad has become it's getting painful and is killing the clubs fanbase.

Said exactly the same myself last night, cringeworthy to say the least.
I just wanna go to the game, have a brew (as I rarely drink) watch the match and fuck off home.

Nobody said hello to me :( I'm so lonely

Someone at the club needs to be told we don't go to City to 'enjoy the game'. Football is too be endured which is why we also need a drink. The club would be better employed bunging the ref a few quid to book Kompany unjustly in the first few minutes - that normally gets the crowd going. Maybe get the oppo striker but an elbow into Zabs face that isn't spotted by the ref instead of all this saying hello nonsense

Saw one on the path from the old Mitchells Arms pub before Spurs. Thought what a waste of money.

At a recent game we were in City Square, watching the very entertaining Mike mc Clean, when a "greeter" came up and said Hello and asked if we were going to the game?

Why else would we be stood about 50 feet from the stadium?

A week or so later they had a ball and asking people to kick it through the MCFC letters - I was very tempted to just hoof the ball in the canal ala Peter Kay Have it!

All I want on Sunday is two minutes silence from that bloody PA system immediately before kick off.
This is a match where the fans should be ALLOWED to create the atmosphere.

Please, please, please City let the fans have a few minutes to build up a hostile wall of noise to greet
our "friends" from Stretford. Get the atmosphere going ahead of kick off and it will continue during
the match. The Rags I know used to call The Etihad and Maine Road before it "The Pit of Hate".
As others have said it's more like Disneyland now. I find that bloody cheesy video depressing not
inspiring. I don't want to be reminded of Paul Dickov scoring at Wembley. I lived through those days
and they were shite. I don't want Bluemoon drowning out our support until 10 seconds before kick off.

What I want and what others on this forum want is to go to a football match and feel that
you are at a football match. Sadly that doesn't seem to fit with the "Premier League Match Day Experience"
as envisaged by some non football fan marketing guru employed by the club.

So will I get my wish on Sunday? Will I f***.

Football is changing, not always for the best. But this is the least of our worries, as supporters.
Maybe the OP is getting on abit and stuck in the past. I suggest a nice cup of Horlicks and a
choccy biscuit to calm his nerves. Looks like it's pipe/slippers and sly sports from now on then ;-)

I must admit having lived through most of it as well I do really like the video. It's got more passion than 95% of the ground.
